    Summary

    CHAPTER ONE

    Introduction

Humble me, dear Lord as I tell my 25-year-old story of your divine deliverance from my mental anguish, torment and a psychosis brought on by depression during a difficult time in my life. My recovery and healing came after unrelenting prayer for months prior to the night of May 6, 1999, for which Jesus delivered me from the darkness of evil that tried to tempt me to give up my life to suicide and the foreboding realm of hell awaiting me upon death.

Before my deliverance, I did see figures, whether real or imagined, stalking me and giving me lurid and menacing messages that frightened me to the point that I no longer wanted to live. A perpetual cycle of torment that I could not escape until the night of May 6, 1999.

God had chosen to hide me since May 6, 1999. I know this now; he was preparing me for a greater purpose. These last 25 years, the Lord has led me down the road to salvation, revealing his blessings and mercy for me for the greater good. He watched my growth in my responsibility to be disciplined in my intake and cultivation of change for divinity. The beauty of Christ and his teachings has given me peace, joy and happiness. I am grateful for his intervention in my life. This is the reason I am telling this truthful story, so you may knock and receive Him too.

For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

    Ephesians 6:12-13

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks, finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

    Matthew 7:8
