Have It Both Ways: With Two Additional Essays
By Daniel Zanou
()
About this ebook
The book closes the debate about Hell and clarifies why Jesus did not and could never go to Hell. It explains why a frantic arms race of nations and excessive war are the primary causes of the world’s unrest. The book is also about the hypocrisy of the political class that struggles to connect the dots between the past deeds of their ancestors and the present moment. They want a big military and a sophisticated highway system but are reluctant to pay for them, hence the title “Have It Both Ways.”.

NOTES TO READERS
T his novella is pure fiction; it is a product of our imagination although we deal with some historical facts and religious conundra. We tackle some religious terms and clarify the general confusion. Many Christians believe Jesus went to Hell. We demonstrate through this piece of literature that he did not. Hell, according to the scriptures, does not exist yet; people often confound it with Sheol or Hades. We provide tangible evidence from the scriptures to close this debate. Christianity didn’t work as it was supposed to be because Christians poured their minds into the scriptures. They err because they don’t understand God and his power.
We urge, therefore, the reader to apprehend the entire literature as a fun book. At the end of my training, as I noticed the threat the revelation I received posed, I segued from religion to philosophy and science. The last time someone was inspired, the Church got split in Europe. The world is not ready and I choose science and philosophy because these two disciplines offer more room to investigate Nature and life’s manifestation on Earth. My philosophy and science appear almost everywhere in my literature.
Another point I have adopted is to shift from Darwinian evolution to Wallacean evolution to clarify amalgam. Alfred Wallace lived among the indigenous people and realized that the human mind could never be explained by Darwin’s work. An Executive Information System governs living organisms and we offer an essay at the end of the book to clarify our position concerning human life on Earth. Wallacean evolution fits the Bible as it supports a directed natural selection rather than an undirected one propounded by Darwin. The article we proposed was written in 2018 and has been slightly updated; I only overhauled the grammar. This article must not make this book a scientific book; it is simply an addition. This book is about literature.
I believe in science; it comes from God. Aliens, if they exist could be behind the engineering of life on Earth; however, their existence does not exclude God because what creates the universe must be transcendent to it. Whether Aliens or not, science changes and improves the world; religion brings sorrow and war to humanity. We have great preachers in Africa already; we must encourage our children to venture into science. We don’t need more preachers in Africa, but more scientists and engineers. Religion is an excuse to be mediocre. History is here to testify that no country has ever developed with religion. Nations develop with science and technology. Science is the study of how the material world operates.
I often write for scholars; even my stories in literature teem with hot topics. The subjects I deal with are very deep; they are about old challenges great philosophers and scholars tackled and discussed in the past. I get answers to many of these topics and although my message targets the youth, I submit all my work to scholars first. One must be a scientist, philosopher, theologian, or a deep thinker to read any of our materials; that’s the recommendation we make. Even if there is no audience, I will still write because I have to write. I must write, so I write, but my readers must be deeply curious individuals.
I decided to write this short story when the Oklahoma Tax Commission declared me delinquent and started harassing me for not paying taxes. They believed I didn’t file for the year 2018 while I was still a resident in Oklahoma City. They also believed that I owned a trucking company, which is not the case in reality. It could have been a coincidence when that letter fell into my postal box inadvertently in 2019, claiming that my trucking company had become delinquent, but the letters that followed me when I settled in Kentucky were clear: they targeted me. I suspected that someone had deleted my files because someone virtually suspended my driver’s license at the Office of Motor Vehicle when I was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. These tactics of intimidation from the American people show how deeply they have departed from reality. The people have become delusional and disconnected from reality; they peddle things out of their imagination and anyone who thinks differently from them is perceived as a threat. To them, I have become a menace, and they have been fighting me by all means possible. Unable to stand in any public debate in front of a knowledgeable audience, the people resort to despicable manners the Western civilization long ago rejected. Perhaps someone needs to remind them that we don’t persecute philosophers, journalists, writers, and thinkers in the West.
I shouldn’t have stood up to the White man in the first place; that was my huge mistake. It is important to clarify that under no circumstances will I pick up a fight against the White man; my African brothers pushed me into the cesspool, so I was engaged in a pseudo-fight. Even if my African brothers didn’t push me into the black-and-white sewage, sooner or later, I would run into a collision with the White man because he was lying too much on some key issues.
The one who cannot accept the reflection of his image from the mirror unless he embellishes it is telling others to love themselves. The wisdom of the world says those who love themselves will be able to love others; subsequently reducing hatred and fear in the world. The White man never understood why he could not accept and love the rest of the world. He prescribes his medication to others. No one can heal himself by making others swallow his medications; it does not work that way. The rest of the world never read Plato to meditate upon beauty; the White man discovered Greek philosophy and has since struggled with his self-image. Isn’t this man who day and night harasses his women about their physical appearance?
In the name of the truth, we create a social platform and call it Truth Social, yet we refuse to admit the truth. If only those who create it could look at their reflection and accept the truth, the world would be a better place. The king cannot fart; it is the Joker; so be it. The Europeans and their descendants continually harass the African people, asking them to love themselves. The Asian people accept what they see in the mirror, and so do the Africans, the Jews, the Latinos, and the rest of the world. Perhaps things would change if everybody could accept and love what he sees in the mirror without any embellishment. This cesspool will dry up if we abide by the truth. If only this man can look in the mirror and just accept and appreciate what he sees, major problems will subside in America.
The one who invaded people’s lands killed them, enslaved them, and replaced them is crying, telling the world that he is being invaded and will be replaced. That’s what I called the White man’s dichotomy. The one who sets fire to the world is telling us the world is on fire. Someone says: if you are dumb, you will survive and live longer. All things considered, the White man won his battle over me, anyway. Let’s set the record straight: I acknowledge my defeat. If I had known from the beginning, I would have kept my mouth shut, but the American people gave me no choice.
Today, they have imposed a severe restriction on my research and writing. Science must not be colored, but unfortunately, it seems to be. For that cause, I have abandoned some revelations I was working on when I came to America. When the light enters the door, darkness flees through the window. Black and white are fundamentally opposed; Nature says so. I am not a threat and I continually repeat it, whenever need be, to appease the White man. The adage says: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. History and common sense show that white and black are radically opposed; so to avoid conflict, better run when the light appears. I wish he were truly the light.
Einstein spent his entire life seeking to understand the mind of God. He would give everything to peep into what was revealed to us. I laugh at existence, and anyone who understands it will laugh too. Humans perish because they lack knowledge and understanding of the world; they do. That’s why they kill each other and are continually at war. Meanwhile, existence is not arduous; it is simply challenging and our happiness is embedded in the challenges we face. If people understand the world, they will be wise. By acquiring wisdom, they will accept things and events as they are, and when they accept them, they will be happy.
In this short story, I provide the reason why I cannot fail to pay taxes. I come from a country where we don’t have highway systems and bridges are almost nonexistent; I call what we have pontoons, meaning small bridges. I studied economics at university, and I learned how aggregate economy works.
To enjoy this book, we urge the reader not to read it, connecting the dots between realities, because the book is designed to make fun of politicians’ hypocrisy. We jab at the American people and their hypocrisy; thus, do not try to figure out anything, read it for fun. The Republicans don’t really sleep with their rifles; we made it up when we heard someone went to an MRI machine with his gun. All Democrat women don’t have abortions. The goal here is to caricature the animosity and the dissymmetric relationships that exist between the two major political parties.
I don’t really know what to call this piece of literature; it is not a short story because I introduced too many characters into the plot; it is not a novel because there are no chapters. I didn’t want to make unnecessary descriptions because I was conveying an important message and wanted to stick to what was only important. I have a lot of things to say, so to avoid people being confused, I started producing short stories to quickly convey important messages. I resume working full time over the road as a truck driver and I write part-time or whenever I find a gap in my schedule.
The story developed and grew bigger; therefore, I decided to write a sequel to this book. As an author said, fiction is meant to illuminate; thus, the reader of this story must seek to understand why Jesus cannot go to Hell and why a frantic arms race and excessive war are the primary causes of the world’s unrest. These are the main themes we try to develop in this book. Thanks.

HAVE IT BOTH WAYS
T he following events occurred during the administration of the young president; things unfolded like in a fairytale. When she announced her candidacy, the American people didn’t believe it, but her mentor did. Bibek Dadapandra congratulated her student as the road to the American presidency is often bumpy and tenebrous, nevertheless, they did it together. The young president could have never made it without her mentor. It was her program, but he understood it better. One year earlier, she could remember vividly the vision the man had and the plan he laid down that brought her straight into the White House.
American politics since George Washington resembled
