She and John have lived nearby during their 50 years of marriage. They have three children and eight grandchildren. Jo’s hobbies include beekeeping, beachcombing and birdwatching.

When I Was Very Young
My name is Sandy. I have heard that I am called a Cairn Terrier which I think is Scottish. This is probably correct because my first owner was a very nice man called Mr Angus Macdonald and that is a very Scottish name. I am about thirty centimetres high when standing and my hair is quite long and scruffy and as golden as sand, which accounts for my name. I have little black tips to my pointy ears, big dark eyes and a very black nose, probably the most important part of me in my job. I would like to tell you about two very big adventures in my life.
