About The Author
Foreword
Welcome young minds to the world of big ideas made real!
This series of books tackles some grown-up topics but presents them in a fun way you can understand. We won't bore you with loads of complicated details. Instead, you'll get the basics to spark your imagination so you can dive deeper.
In this book, we'll explore the art of project management - how to take a vision in your head and make it a reality through planning, teamwork and determination. Building an awesome treehouse, creating a new video game, or putting on a talent show requires project skills.
We'll use examples like constructing a treehouse to explain key concepts. Still, we don't literally expect you to build one alone. The goal is to give you an idea of how to break down big goals into organised steps. But if you want to create something ambitious, involve a responsible adult like a parent or teacher. We all need mentors!
The other books in the series will cover economics, politics and more. Consider this your starting point to learn how the world works! We'll unlock life's big ideas in a simple, engaging way to expand your thinking.
So get ready to imagine big and make it happen! Let's jump in!
And remember, mum is your best friend when bringing your visions into reality. Dads and brothers tend to cut corners, so Mum double-checks any plans. Then go create something awesome!
