The Prophecy of the Eternal Winter. - khalil altahhan

    introduction:

A novel that takes place during World War II. An impossible love story between a German guy and a Jewish girl in the period of Nazi control in Germany, in an atmosphere of mystery, darkness and horror. The Prophecy of the Eternal Winter! This is the title of the novel ... and what is hidden from the details is more terrifying and greater! Dear reader: You have to read the novel to know what this horrifying prophecy is: The Prophecy of the Eternal Winter.

A suburb of Berlin in 1941 AD..

From among the fog, a person appears from afar. He was wearing a black hat and torn gray clothes. He was walking with heavy steps, and saying to himself:

It is the end that I will draw with my own hand,

and I will end that prophecy.

He says those words, opens the door to that old room he used to live in, and enters.

In a place near that old house, from among the fog, a black shadow appears and begins to take shape, it appears in the form of a person dressed entirely in black with long black hair that was covering his face and almost hiding it.

    You cannot change your fate.

He says those words, and disappears into the mist.

    A few days later...

Two people enter that old room..

They are the investigator Jurgen and his assistant Hans.

The investigator, Jurgen, has a huge body, short, blond hair, and a shaven face, while his assistant, Hans, is short, light-skinned, has short, black hair.

Detective Jurgen examines one of the tables that had traces of dust on it.

Assistant Hans askes Jurgen in astonishment: What's wrong with you!? You have been examining the place for more than two hours!! I believe that the issue does not need all this trouble, as the issue is clear. It is a normal suicide incident.

Detective Jurgen, smiling: My friend, this is advice from someone who has gone through many experiences in life. Do not always believe what your eyes see, but use your mind in what you see to reach the truth.

The Assistant Hans contemplating the hanging corpse: What a strange world! What would push a person of James’s educational and cultural level to commit suicide? His life was stable financially and in all respects. I am surprised!! What made him do something like this to himself?

Jurgen, shaking the dust from his hands: You say a stable life!! A person with a stable life does not have to leave the palace in which he was living to come and live in a room in such a poor hotel! You know that he had a house that looked like a palace in Berlin, then who told you that it was just a suicide!?

We are not sure of that yet.

Hans: You're always like this, you like to exaggerate things and make them dangerous. How vast your imagination is!!

Jurgen: Let us stop talking and let us move the body so that it can be uncovered in a deeper way. The days will reveal to us the hidden trueth.

    XXX

    A bar in Berlin...

Lorena is sitting with a group of men and women, laughing with signs of drunkenness on their faces.

(Lorena is a woman in her twenties, an extremely beautiful woman with long black hair hanging over her shoulders and a snow-white face.)

While she was laughing and drinking, she felt someone approaching her from behind her, his shadow reflected on the ground. Then she felt a hand caressing her black hair, so she looked for a moment to see who it was. Suddenly, she jerked up from her place and fell to the ground, screaming, trembling with fear. The attention of everyone present turned to her. With astonishment... her friends approach her and lift her off the ground, then sit her on her chair

one of her friends (Klaus) asks her: What's wrong with you!? What happened !?

Lorena remained silent, trembling. She got to her feet and ran towards the door of the bar, crying.

Bar owner: Arrogant Lorena is crying!? What is happening in this world!?

Klaus was watching her leave with suspicious looks.

Then he turns to the bar owner and says: I want another bottle of drink.

    XXX

    Government hospital

Detective Jurgen and his assistant Hans were standing in front of the mortuary where James was placed.

Hans: Even in death, people distinguish themselves from each other. Imagine, James was placed in his own mortuary. I mean, for his body.

Jürgen:  This is the way of the world... What will we do!? our country is at war,  we must stay away from such talk and be united.

He is silent for a while, then says:

Did you hear what I heard, Hans? That strange sound!

Hans: No, I didn't hear anything.. What's going on?!

Jürgen: I thought it came from... Forget it...

Hans, laughing: If you are insinuating that the sound came from me, I will be very angry with you. I have not eaten anything today.

Jürgen: No, you damned one. I didn’t mean that. I may be delusional.

Hans: You should sleep and rest. You haven't slept since yesterday.

Jurgen: Yes, you are right. Sleeping after being tired is the best thing.

At the bar.. in the evening

Fernando is sitting with Benjamin at one of the tables.

    {Fernando is a huge person with long blond hair and a blond face that is slightly red, while Benjamin is a blonde person with short, curly hair, his left eye is blind, with a piece of black leather on it.}

Fernando addressed Benjamin sarcastically: You scoundrel, I see you are not dead?

Benjamin, smiling: God protects me because I pray

Fernando sarcastically: You say, God protect you! You mean Jehovah? then let out a big laugh: Tell Jehovah to part the sea again so he can help you!

Benjamin: Soon that promise will be fulfilled and we will have a country to live in. It is the promised land. We will get rid of you and you will get rid of us and we will be free from each other!

Fernando, wiping the remains of the drink from his mouth with the edge of his sleeve:

Congratulations on that land then... Go now if you want! i don't care

Benjamin smiles a little , then continues: What's up with Lorena? What's up with your friend James? Is he still chasing her?

Fernando indifferently: She is Jewish like you, she is your relative,  you know her and her condition, so why are you asking me?

Benjamin: Lorena is mine, I won't let her be anyone but me!

Fernando mockingly: Take her, who's stopping you?

Benjamin: Hitler, your leader, who threatens us with liquidation and murder, prevents me. We have no future here in Germany

Fernando looks at him angrily, his face turns red with rage.

Benjamin continues: Hitler thinks he will end us!? But shame! We will trample on him with our feet sooner or later

Fernando gets up from his place angrily, grabs him, throws him to the ground, and stomps on his head, saying: What do you say now, haaa? Your head is now under the foot of a German citizen and not any citizen!

Rather, he is a citizen with Nazi blood running through his veins.

Some of the people sitting at the bar get Fernando away, calm him down,  then sit him at another table.

Benjamin gets up from the ground with some blood on his face, then he sits down after correcting the position of the piece of leather over his eye after it had deviated slightly from its place.

Fernando looks at him angrily  says, screaming: You scoundrel... You left your old grandmother to face her fate and die... As for you!! You disappeared like rats, leaving your old grandmother to face her dark fate.

I wonder!? Why are you alive yet? It is a question that arises!!

Then he turnes to the bar owner, says: Not only him, but they all do that and hand over old women and women to
