he’s scared to do it, he’s afraid he’s gonna fail

he must pay attention to every single detail

if something goes wrong, he’s waiting for the rain

and then he’ll try again,

he’s scared to close his eyes

he’s scared to fly to the skies

he’s not ready for his eternal life

he’s not ready to begin his afterlife.

down to the lake, down to the river

there’s a creepy man walking, a well-known killer

his heart is pure, his soul is not

his face is bright, his intentions are dark,

praying for the poor ones, praying for them all

the man is holding a brand-new doll

one for her, one for her friend, one for her sister

one for him, one for them, one for that mister

‘come & play, don’t be rude, let’s take a walk

no time for questions, there’s no time to talk’,

running away, scared, they warned the others, no one was safe

they didn’t listen, no track of the waif

little did they know, the blood on their hands

a body’s lost between worlds, between lands,

sweet Fanny Adams, a story that needs to be told

leaving all the secrets unfold.
