EZRA - Jean Harvey
1.0 The poem about the night and the ravens
It´s getting dark in the city
the night lamps in the streets are on
and the ravens
the loud ravens come in sharp and sit down
and sing their songs
and speak in their language
which soul they probably met today
the ravens are waiting
and the soul to take with them
and the night light brings the soul
to the place where they all sit
and waiting in the dark of the night
2.0 The melty blood
Nevermore
she lies here,
and nevermore with you
she has not told you anything
you had just stopped her
and held her off
she has fallen asleep
she still tastes the blood on her lips
it´s dripping
when you come home
like every evening
it is an evening
but not as always
she lies there
and melts in her blood
the melty blood
the melty blood
and nevermore with you
3.0 Raindrops
Raindrops fall around me
down on me and wash away
my dirty thoughts
i close my eyes
open my mouth
and drink some drops
so that they also reach my inner life
to cleans me of all my dirty moments
in which i already committed suicide
4.0 Between fog and silence
Between fog and silence
they wait
wait for me
and i´m just moving torwards
and tear with them
take many live with me
i´m in war
i´m coming
