About this ebook
An unknown virus has transformed huge portions of the population into the walking dead. Mindless corpses wandering the streets. Only a few of these are capable of horrific and unthinkable violence.
Robert DeSantos has organised a day trip with his closest friends now that government bands have been lifted and the threat is believed to be under control.
The threat, to some, is in the past, but what lies on the outskirts of town is truly horrific and Robert and his friends may not live to see another sunrise.
In this post-apocalyptic story about zombies and friendship, "Watch Out for the Dancing Ones" examines that even in the worst of situations human spirit can always thrive and overcome.

The moment Robert DeSantos opened his eyes he was met with a deafening silence that he found perturbing. His first thought was, They’re dead. They’re all dead. Visions of blood and dismembered corpses crossed his mind's eye as the fogginess of sleep fell away.
He threw his doona cover off and sprang out of his bed and his feet pounded on his floor. A pain shot up from his right foot and up his leg. He kicked a toy dinosaur away in anger and dismay and bent to rub where the hard plastic spikes on its back had stabbed at the sole of his foot. He remembered playing with them yesterday evening after dinner. It had been his sister’s turn to do the dishes, which she had done with no amount of complaining and excuses, which left him time to play.
