    R ing, ring, ring.

Yo? Louie said as he answered his cell phone.

Ayo Slime, where you at, bro? Bando asked him.

I’m up top, Slime. Why? What’s good? Louie asked.

I’m about to touch down at the port authority in two hours, Bando mentioned.

Alright bet. I’ll be that way to grab you before then, Slime-Time. Louie tells him.

Alight. Say less, bro. Bando responds and disconnects the call.

Two hours later, Bando hears, Last stop Port Authority, New York City, the bus driver yelled through the PA System on the bus.

Bando stood up and unplugged his phone from the charger, threw his hoodie on, then grabbed the duffle bags from underneath the seat. He makes his way through the terminal and up towards 42nd street and 7th avenue.

He steps out and spots his friend Louie seated low, behind the wheel of an Impala with Vermont tags. Bando makes his way over and quickly hops in the front seat, throwing the two duffle bags over his shoulder onto the back seat. Vado, the rapper, can be heard blaring through the speakers.

Louie looked at him like he was crazy then asked, Ayo, Slime, why you ain’t throw that shit in the trunk?

Bando flashes him that evil grin, and then looks back at the bags and pats them as if he was checking for reassurance. Come on now, bro, you know me already boi! Anything hot that’s in a car with me got to be real close by, fuck all that trunk shit. How the fuck I’m a get to the trunk when twelve get behind us, huh? Bando says. Louie just looks at a nigga for a minute, like he was contemplating something, then just smiles. Bando folds his arms with a smile of his own, and says, Exactly nigga. Now, let’s bend these corners!

With that Louie lights the backwoods he had sitting in the ashtray and pulled into traffic. Ayo, Slime, are we shooting to the jungle to see mommy and lil man before we slide back up the way or what? Bando asked.

Nah, bro, we got to get back up top ASAP, my nigga. My shit ain’t stop ringing since I left to come snatch your ass up. Louie replied through bits of laughter.

Yeah, I already know how that goes. Bando said to him.

And plus, we are not going to even chance that ride when the streets are on fire right now, Louie said, matter-of-factly. And by looking at the size of them bags you got back there, Louie nods his head towards the back seat, "And knowing your nutty ass, there ain’t no telling what the fuck we riding with." Louie continued, while giving Bando a questioning look.

All he got back was the infamous evil grin and a shoulder shrug. Then, Bando reaches over and grabs the blunt from Louie as he was taking another pull. it’s a surprise Slime-Time.

Louie cuts his eyes at him once again, looking at Bando like he was bugged the fuck out, and says, A surprise? Nigga a surprise for who and what? he asked Bando. This time, as he looked over to his right-hand man 100 grand−his his brother from another mother, no fathers but the same struggles, he sees no smile, no grinning, none of that on his man’s face, just that focused and determined look that Bando gives when he’s on a mission.

Bando takes a pull from the blunt and looks over at Louie dead in his eyes and says one thing and leaves it at that. The opposition! Bando said, as he deeply inhaled the exotic smoke.

    CHAPTER 1

Story #1 Listen up, I got a story to tell…

Albany/Troy Same day (2 hours later) 87 North, exit 22

H ello? A female voice says on the other end of the p hone.

Asia, what’s the word lil mama? Bando asked.

Teddy is this you? And where the fuck have you been at nigga, huh? Got the nerve to be fucking calling me like shit all peachy and normal around this bitch, fuck outtalk here, you going to have to do better than that! she yells.

Bando laughs, then says, Well, I see someone misses me. Although Asia just flipped on him, she still gave herself away by asking him his whereabouts and calling him Teddy, a dead giveaway on her part.

Oh, what the fuck ever nigga, Asia chimes in. He can see her on the other end of the phone as if he was standing right in front of her, rolling her eyes and shaking her neck all around and shit. All Bando could do was shake his head in distress. And you still haven’t answered my question, I asked where the fuck you been at huh, Teddy?

Fed up with hearing her bullshit, Bando cuts into her ass. First off, watch your fucking mouth! Secondly ask me the proper way with some fucking respect, and then you may receive a proper response to your question. And furthermore, control your emotions and temper when you are talking to, or dealing with me! So now that we got all that out the way, maybe we can start this over from the beginning without all of the rude shit. Now as I first said, what’s the word little mama?

There was silence for a moment, then Asia spoke up and said, Nothing! filled with attitude behind that one word.

Bando was tempted to laugh in her ear, but he was not going to fuel her rage. One thing he knew was how out of control and hostile she could get when it came to him. That was one of the things he loved about her little ass, ill mama was feisty as hell. And plus, he knew she was only in her feelings due to him being gone down bottom in the Carolinas for the past month with no word or nothing. Hell, she will be alright.

The only people that knew his location were his mother and his two brothers, Banner and Louie. Shit, he has never been in the business of explaining himself to anyone but his children. Asia and Bando always had a great rapport, and plus he knew that lil mama had genuine love for him. He has never been the type to take such things for granted or abuse them. Being the real nigga that he was, he knew that the right thing for him to do was at least smooth things out with her and make her feel better.

"So, that’s all I get is nothing? Now, huh, miss Asia?" Bando asks her.

"I mean, what do you want me to say, Teddy? When I do ask
