I would like
to
begin by thanking my immediate support network, the small group of people who have been unwavering in their support of this book: Carolyn Slater and Timothy Horton for inspiring and encouraging me to write about these life experiences, who simply thought the story had meaning and needed to be told. I am humbled by their belief in and support of me.
Along with my wife, Kimberly (who at times is still mystified), whose willingness to let me run my course has enabled me to follow my dreams, and I love her truly for her selflessness.
I also would like to thank my children for showing me the traits I recognize in myself in them. Hopefully they realize how much they have taught me.
I am also grateful for my editor and ghostwriter, Bridget May. She came out of nowhere and made this writing thing a whole lot easier. More than a ghostwriter, Bridget deserves the title of co-writer. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I would like to thank all the Slater family for their incredible intuition and love, as well as my extended families, the Nettles’s and Brannon’s, throughout the years.
I also must acknowledge all friends, co-workers, etc…anybody I have had a conversation or connection with throughout my life (from the cradle to the grave).
You all are the reason I have made it thus far. I deeply appreciate all of you for what you brought into my life, no matter how brief.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Foreword: Exploring the Uncharted Realms of Experience
Life often unfolds
in
unexpected and uncharted ways. It is a journey that takes us through the realms of joy and sorrow, success and failure as we live out our days. But there exists another dimension, a realm often overlooked or dismissed as mere whimsy—a realm I was asked to explore in this captivating project.
When I was approached to contribute to this book, delving into the woo-woo
subjects of premonitions, intuition, unexplained connections, and messages from enigmatic sources, my curiosity was piqued. It’s a terrain we navigate personally and quietly, occasionally sharing stories in hushed tones, afraid of being labeled eccentric or dismissed as fanciful. Yet, as I began working with Dante on this project, I quickly realized the profound importance of embracing and understanding these experiences.
His narratives are not just anecdotes but windows into a world that exists beyond our conventional understanding. Through his experiences, one can understand that the threads connecting us to the mysterious and the inexplicable are woven intricately into the fabric of our existence.
In a society that often prioritizes the tangible and the scientifically explainable, we find ourselves hesitating to share the moments when our intuition whispered truths, when premonitions urged us to alter our course, or when unexplainable connections offered solace in times of adversity. I think this stems from the fear of being labeled as believers in the supernatural, but in reality, these experiences are part of the collective human experience, silently connecting us all.
Dante’s stories resonate with a universal truth—the recognition that there is more to life than meets the eye. As I delved into his narratives, I found myself reflecting on my own encounters with the unexplained, moments when my intuition guided me through the fog of uncertainty or when it provided profound insights that seemingly came from nowhere.
This book invites you, the reader, to embark on a journey beyond the conventional, to explore the seldom trodden paths of existence that extend beyond the boundaries of reason. It is a collection of stories that invites you to consider the possibility that our connection to the mysterious is an inherent part of being human, which is often overshadowed by the relentless pursuit of the material and the rational.
These narratives are not intended to provide irrefutable evidence or to convert skeptics into ardent believers. Instead, they serve as a testament to the richness and diversity of the human experience. Each story is a brushstroke on the canvas of the extraordinary, inviting us to contemplate the vastness of our own consciousness and the interconnectedness that binds us to all things.
We invite you to consider the possibility, and to open a dialogue, a space for reflection and discussion about the often- dismissed aspects of life, that when approached with an open mind may hold keys to understanding our purpose, our connections to each other, and the mysterious forces that shape our journey.
As you turn the pages of this book, may you find inspiration to embrace the uncharted realms of your own experiences. May you recognize that these narratives have the potential to reveal the extraordinary within your own life. I hope you enjoy this exploration into the unknown as much as I have, and that it sparks a newfound appreciation for the mysterious threads that bind us all.

Preface
I wrote this
book
because of the trauma I see people experiencing and dealing with every day.
Like most people, I’ve witnessed some terrible things happen to friends, family, co-workers, and associates. All sorts of catastrophic events—from tragic accidents, to spending time in jail for something they didn’t do, to losing everything and being homeless in a matter of weeks, to being stricken with a terrible disease or affliction. It’s traumatic and difficult to understand, especially
