Like the Suez Canal Crisis in 1956 that marked a shift in global power from Britain to the United States, in the year 2023, the Ukraine war and the Israel Hamas war marked the emergence of China as the new leader of the world, and China will lead the world for a long time to come with the vision of common prosperity for mankind.

 

This shift of global power also marked the rise of the East over the West and the division of the world into two camps -- the Global South Camp consisting of the developing countries in Asia, Russia, Central Asia, Africa, South America, and the Arab countries in the Middle East, led by China, and on the other hand the Global North Camp consisting of countries in North America, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan and South Korea, led by the US. 

 

Based on statistics available in 2023, the Global South Camp led by China accounts for about 60% of world GDP (wisevoter.com) and 83% of the world population (worldometers.info).   

 

Unlike the past world powers who got their powers by force, wars and killing, amazingly China did it without firing a single bullet.

 

2023 - First time in history China surpassed the West

 

It is the first time ever in world history China has surpassed the West and become the leader of the world.  To the West China has always been the sweatshop in the East to make cheap products.   However, shocked in disbelief the West suddenly realize China has risen as the new world power over them -- that is something hard for them to swallow.      

 

This book is going to tell you how it happened – the rise of China from poverty to the world power in just 40 years, and what lies ahead for the world following China's resurgence – common prosperity.

 

Unbiased Analysis

 

The arguments in this book are based on facts and figures from a wide range of sources.  It is not a long and wordy book; it focuses on analysis of the rise of China without being bogged down by details and rid of emotions.  It tells you about Chinese culture and wisdom dated back 5000 years ago, the ravages China went through because of the illegal opium trade started by Britain in 1760s, the "Century of Humiliation" in 20th century, the great reform starting from 1970s, how China became the World No. 1 Power within just a short year in 2023, what lies ahead for the world and the prospect of WW III and nuclear war.  It covers very much all the key events and components leading to these world changing events.  It will give you much broader and deeper understandings about China and the world.  

 

It is an unbiased analysis.  Some readers may disagree with my arguments, but it is not surprising.  As I said in the book, for decades people in the West have been living in information bubbles produced by their mainstream media, and all they hear from the mainstream media is biased and incomplete information about the world.  The rise of China will not be easily accepted by the West, and the world will be divided into two camps for a long time to come.  Hopefully when you look back 20 years from now you will agree, and by that time mankind will be living in one world in harmony and peace.

Ho Man

I am an Australian Chinese geopolitical researcher, born and raised in the British colony of Hong Kong when China was deep in the turmoil of the Cultural Revolution in extreme poverty and destitute.   Living in a predominantly Chinese society under the rules of the English, I studied in a top English school and worked as senior risk management officers in top English and international banks.  I then migrated to Australia, worked for the Australian government and a major American bank managing China country risks and projects.  I studied and researched extensively about China and the West at different angles and stages.  In the early years I did believe America was the greatest on earth.  Then as I embarked on deeper research, alternative information became increasingly available on the internet, my research reviewed the other side of the picture.   The dark facts that I uncovered filled me with disbeliefs and unanswered questions.  Then when the last piece of the puzzle fell into place, the truths behind the surface became clear, totally altering what I knew about the world.
