Transcending Boundaries - Varun Bansal
1. A JOURNEY TO THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH
Why am I a human being and not this chair?
I asked myself while sitting on a chair during my second-grade class in school. Of course, it was a silly question to ask, but inquiries such as who created us, the purpose of life, who am I, and who created this universe always fascinated me, prompting me to think deeper. I always wanted to uncover the truth, but the problem was that until the end of college, I was not aware of the right path to follow in order to discover the absolute truth about the universe.
Since childhood, I didn’t believe much in religion, as I always thought that the entire universe operates in accordance with science. The reason behind this is that I used to think that if God existed, there should not be a single sign of terror attacks like 26/11 in India. Being an Indian kid, I observed people from different religions and backgrounds following various rituals to impress God and make their wishes come true.
However, for most of my life, I never believed in God. Another reason for my scepticism towards God may be because I have never seen Him or talked to Him. In science and engineering, we can observe things happening in front of us, so the idea that the universe created itself always satisied me more than believing in a creator.
Although my views changed when I discovered the absolute truth and experienced the genuine love of God, you too can experience it if you wish. It's quite easy, thanks to a beautiful method that can make you feel the love of God. I'm not the only one who has experienced it; many people, both in ancient and modern times, have shared this experience. We'll delve into this method later in the book, but before that, there are a few things you need to understand to fully grasp it and to learn about the miracles I've encountered in my
