Ulla Sarmiento, DVM, PhD is a research scientist turned spiritual scientist. Her goal is to bridge science and spirituality by introducing new thought processes about the greater reality to replace outdated spiritual myths and scientific misconceptions that no longer serve us. We need to upgrade our understanding in both areas, because we know a lot more about ourselves and our reality now. ¡No tenemos nada que temer, pero much por entender!"Ulla has just released a new book, her 7th book, which she has channeled herself, which is absolutely fantastic. So I suggest you type in her name on Google, and find out what the first six books are, Big Picture Questions Books 1-6. Book 7 is the one that she’s channeled herself, so please go out and seek out the new book. It’s proving to be excellent. This book presents new original material to the reader on one side, whilst taking her further down the road to self-realisation and mastery on the other. Without doubt, I can see a metaphysical leader of great significance in the making. My advice is to keep an eye on her work, there is more to come" - Guy Steven Needler (Author) 2/28/2024

I had read her other book here on Scribd and enjoyed it very much. Ulla has a good straight forward informative style and is very easy to read. Both these selections are a great way to begin to understand the structure of our existence.
I would recommend it to all that are on a spiritual journey or are just curious about the "why" of all things.

Introduction

Are you ready to find out who you really are, why you are here and why your life really matters? If so, come along for the ride, because you will never look at your life the same way after reading this book.

Why? Because I wrote this book to give you a jumpstart into new ways of looking at yourself and all the other beings around you on this planet that exists in the physical universe, which is part of our multiverse.

I am a research scientist turned into a spiritual scientist and my goal is to bridge spirituality and science in a new way to show that they are part of a continuum, not something that can’t be mixed.

I spent the first part of my life learning all about animals and their disease conditions, looking down a microscope and studying tissues and cells to figure out how various conditions affect our bodies. Then I wanted to go even deeper, so I learned to clone and sequence genes, then map them onto chromosomes. What I discovered was a fascinating micro-universe operating within all living beings.

That was just the beginning. There are fractal patterns that are self-similar and repeated all over nature, just as the second Hermetic Principle states: As above, so below; as below, so above.

I spent the next part of my life looking up from the microscope to see the bigger picture. I used my research skills to gather, discern and assimilate information from many sources. I began to ask age-old questions and summarized the newest answers in my blog (www.BigPictureQuestions.com).

In the process, I read hundreds of books and articles and listened to countless interviews, channels and workshops. I learned to sense subtle energies that are within and all around us and honed my intuitive skills as well.

What I came to realize is that there is much more to us than what we can see with a microscope or a telescope. The word spiritual simply refers to higher frequencies holding energies in forms that most people can’t perceive. As Albert Einstein said, energy is everything and that’s all there is to it.

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. — Marie Curie

My goal is to share some Big Picture concepts with you to empower you to recognize your role in the greater reality. The truth is far more exciting and inspiring than anything you may have seen or heard until now.

This book is meant to blow your old mindset away. Spirituality is no longer a mystery. We can now understand both science and spirituality in their real terms, not couched in mysteries, myths, science fiction or spiritual fiction.

Let the journey of a thousand epiphanies begin!

Today’s spiritual science is tomorrow’s hard science. — Guy Needler

Chapter 1: How do we know things?

In every generation people have been asking the same questions about the nature of our reality: Who are we? Why are we here? Where do we come from? How was the universe born? Does God exist? What is spirit? Is reincarnation possible? What is time and space? What is the point of our life?

The answers to these questions are not really new, they are the wisdom of the ages. Sages know that truth is timeless. It can’t be owned or trademarked, it can only be realized. Therein lies the crux of the matter. We are finally able to realize more than ever before in our recorded history.

There are several ways to know things. We are taught by our schools and society to rely heavily on our left brain, which is focused on linear thinking and inquiry using logic, facts, details, formulas and patterns to find answers or solutions to problems. We use these functions in science to study and gain experimental knowledge about the physical or outer world. We use them in our society to build structures, institutions, routines, law and order, but it’s not the only way to know something.

Our right brain excels at abstract thinking skills, imagination, dreaming and creativity and making sense of our experiential knowledge. It gives us a holistic view of reality. We need our logical and abstract minds to function at our level of existence, but we are also born with some intuitive abilities that we may access in conscious or unconscious ways.

Intuition is direct knowing or knowingness. It is an inner awareness of information without any experimental proof or experiential learning to back it up. It is not logical or holistic — it is instantly knowing something without knowing how we know it. Some call it the sixth sense or extrasensory perception (or ESP).

The type of information we may receive depends on which intuitive clear senses (or clairs) we are more attuned to. They include clairvoyance (intuitive seeing), clairaudience (hearing), claircognizance (knowing), clairsentience (feeling), clairtaction (touching), clairolfactance (smelling), claireloquence (communicating), clairempathy (feeling of emotion), and other higher functions.

It’s easy to dismiss our intuitive hunches as just imagination, which is a right brain function. We believe it’s not real because there is no proof or logic behind it, which is a left brain
