About this ebook
When Cooper’s cat Sugar gets stuck in the tree -- again -- he isn’t sure what to do. He’s afraid of heights, snow has begun to fall, and he isn’t dressed for winter weather. As he pleads with Sugar to come down, a sexy stranger appears out of nowhere to save the day.
Adam is surprised to see a cute guy with no shoes standing out in the snow under a tree, but when the guy starts to drop to the ground, Adam flies into rescue mode and catches him just in time. The weird thing is, once Adam has Cooper in his arms, he’s pretty sure letting him go isn’t going to be easy. Can finding your soulmate happen in an instant?

Sugar’s Daddy
By Sarah Hadley Brook
Chapter 1
Cooper
Long branches, nearly empty, moved with the wind, scraping against the side of the house and brushing over onto the roof. A single dried leaf swirled down around me as I hopped from one foot to the other, clapping my mittened hands together. Dead grass crunched under my feet and I wanted to kick myself for running out the front door without shoes—but that would probably hurt without shoes. And why did I think these mittens would keep my hands warm? They were cute and all, but they were loosely knitted and clearly more to be worn as an accessory than for, you know, actual use in the cold.
Remnants of the sunset spilled dusky orange from the east and normally I’d have loved to take the time to drink in the beauty, especially since a gorgeous full moon was also gracing the sky that evening, but instead, I was occupied with trying to keep the panic at bay. Anxiety that had started as a tiny bubble of irritation ballooned into something much stronger, settling on my chest and bringing with it a fresh new wave of panic. I’d been fighting it since I found Sugar in the tree and had come to believe the only
