"Earmarked" is a horror fantasy story following Fae, a young elf, who fails to evade a knight in shining armor who hunts elves illegally.
In "Friendly Cargo" space pirates Byte and her Captain Liana try to talk their way out of a confrontation with the Federation. In the scramble to hide their contraband, Byte befriends an animal hidden away in their cargo hold. When she comes face to face with the General, the situation goes from bad to worse.
This utopian superhero story, "Friendly Skies", deals with newly powered teen Aella being confronted by her best friend, Allissa. Their friendship suffers its toughest test ever.
"A Child's Flame" follows the young child, Lilith as she sneaks out of her occultist town to partake in the Halloween tradition of church burning. Lilith makes sacrifices she makes and faces challenges all for a good story to tell her class.

Fae didn’t know where to run, but she needed to find safety. She looked back over her shoulder in the same second an arrow flew past her gaze. Behind her, a neigh unleashed echoing off the old oaks surrounding the trail. The silver tip of the next arrow being notched caught in the moonlight. She faced back toward the infinite path and continued her sprint.
Fae had to stick to the trail. Veering off increased her chances of being caught by something less human. Her only option was to make it to the next town and hope they were hospitable to elves. Knowing that ahead of time required time and a plan. Fae had neither Right now, Fae just needed to run.
The trot of the horse only grew louder as Fae’s stamina finally began to give out. Her breath was heavy as her run turned into more of a stumble. She looked back at the trail to see how much time she had. None.
Another arrow glistened in the moonlight before it landed directly in Fae’s calve.
Ah!
Fae screamed.
She reached towards a nearby tree to keep herself from falling. The sting of pain blurred her vision. Her attempt at reaching failed. She missed the tree and began a descent off the trail.
The knight placed his bow on the side of his dark horse and reached his target. His
