About this ebook

From the Stars to the Forests is a collection of quick-read stories and the first-ever short story published by Dominick Ott. These stories range from a sci-fi tale about an unexpected friend to an adventure comedy about a young girl.

"Earmarked" is a horror fantasy story following Fae, a young elf, who fails to evade a knight in shining armor who hunts elves illegally.

In "Friendly Cargo" space pirates Byte and her Captain Liana try to talk their way out of a confrontation with the Federation. In the scramble to hide their contraband, Byte befriends an animal hidden away in their cargo hold. When she comes face to face with the General, the situation goes from bad to worse.

This utopian superhero story, "Friendly Skies", deals with newly powered teen Aella being confronted by her best friend, Allissa. Their friendship suffers its toughest test ever.

"A Child's Flame" follows the young child, Lilith as she sneaks out of her occultist town to partake in the Halloween tradition of church burning. Lilith makes sacrifices she makes and faces challenges all for a good story to tell her class.
