libb Redundant had a wonderful summer vacation from school. He enjoyed living on the family farm in the Midwest, especially in the summer. He loved fishing in his family’s pond and watching all the crops grow. His dad was preparing to harvest the fields of crops soon. The new school year started today and due to visiting relatives, the evening before, Glibb was so tired this morning that he was not his normally excited self. His aunt, uncle and cousins had stayed well beyond his normal bedtime last evening. Glibb found himself wishing that he could have a couple more hours of sleep before getting up this morning. He found the strength to crawl out of his bed and get ready for the first day of school in the fourth grade. He yawned and stretched all the way to the bathroom.

Glibb returned to his room to get dressed after taking a shower and brushing his teeth. He made his bed and was on his way down stairs to breakfast. He was so glad that he could ride his bike, as he felt too tired to walk all the way to school this morning.
