The Adventures of the Ice Dragon

About this ebook
The little dragon Julio was born into a family of fire-breathing dragons. However, from an early age, he discovered that he could only breathe ice from his snout. While the other young dragons had fun spewing flames, Julio was excluded and ridiculed for his icy breath.
One day, while practicing alone and trying in vain to produce his first fire breath, Julio stumbled and fell from a bridge, carried away by the river's current to a mysterious land covered in snow. There, he met the inhabitants of the Frozen Kingdom, who were suffering from unusual hot temperatures.
Julio then had an idea. He began to exhale his icy breath all over the kingdom, helping to cool and bring joy to the inhabitants. For the first time, he realized that his unique powers made him special in his own way. Julio had found a home where his abilities were celebrated.

Chapter 1 - A different dragon
Julio's birth
1.jpegIt was a sunny morning in the Valley of the Dragons when little Julio was born. His parents, Josh and Jô, could hardly contain their excitement at seeing their little boy for the first time. He had light blue scales, little wings and bright green eyes.
Our little boy is beautiful! - exclaimed Jô, shedding tears of joy.
Josh smiled proudly as he carefully held Julio with his claws. The baby dragon yawned, revealing his pink gums.
Over the next few days, the dragon's friends and family came to meet the new member of the family. They brought gifts such as shiny stones and flaming branches. Julius was very spoiled and promised to be a strong dragon.
I can't wait to teach you all about our magic fire! - said Josh, making a small flame to entertain his son.
News of Julius' birth spread quickly. Soon he would be introduced to the whole of the Valley of the Dragons. This was a very special occasion, celebrated by everyone for many generations. The future of that brood was just beginning.
Failed attempts to spit fire
As Julio grew up, the moment came that his parents had been waiting for to teach their youngster how to breathe fire. It was an important rite of passage for any dragon.
- Pay attention, my son! You have to feel the flame inside you and channel it through your chest and into your mouth. Then look! - said Josh, releasing a large orange flame into the air, much to Julio's delight.
The little dragon wagged his tail, eager to do like his father. He puffed out his chest, closed his face in concentration and let out his first attempt at fire. To everyone's surprise, only a few flakes of ice came out of his little mouth.
- Like this? Try again, Julio! Channel your inner energy! - encouraged Jo.
Once again, Julio tried with all his might to expel an imposing flame like those of the adults. However, his magic breath seemed frozen. Only bursts of ice were blown by him.
His parents were quite confused. They had never seen anything like this in such a young dragon. Was there something wrong with Julio?
Over the next few days, they tried different approaches to help him awaken his inner fire. They performed ancient rituals, gave him energizing potions, sought out mystical healers. But nothing worked. No matter how hard he tried, Julio could only produce ice.
The time has come to introduce the young dragon to the community, as tradition dictates.
