About this ebook
When governor Jack Holeson was President of Neobadia, he tried to kill all of the gene spliced orphans, but one survived and his name was Alek.
When Jack became President of Neobadia he was against gene splicing, he said it was playing God, and it was wrong; instead he made a group of soldiers called the Headhunters, and their duty was to hunt the Creatures of Neobadia, to get the sought after Nectar by killing the animals.
Now Alek was for gene splicing and to not kill the Creatures. Instead, he wants to stop this President at all costs and, hopefully, save these animals one way or another.

Chapter 1
Ethan Everton’s spaceship almost escaped. He was careful to not crash, blazingly, into an iceberg. There were Creatures everywhere.
He almost landed into a wide mouth, a worm. Creatures here always seem to be very hungry and dangerous. Ethan should watch himself, not to mention, he was being hunted by a Headhunter.
His ship was no match, but he can’t let his wife be captured. She has a bounty on her head: Dead or alive: Ten thousand ki.
This is Ethan’s home world, he’s never been anywhere else, and he never planned to be, that’s until Killarla came into his life, his first and only wife. They were more than just lovers; she was his best friend too. He would hate to lose her.
Ethan grabbed her hand and pulled off the burning rubble as he released her legs. She was a dirty mess, but nowhere compared to his spacecraft. The left wing was a total wreck.
Ethan couldn’t purchase all his wife wanted when spaceships came into fashion. She didn’t get a good deal. She wasn’t happy. There were many spacecrafts.
We Ran. Our bodies left the warm ship, we had just enough Hunter’s Nirvana to keep us warm. There should be shelter to find before we run out of Nectar.
If only Killarla didn’t steal a Hunter’s mark. She made a seventy-seven thousand payment in ki, then gave up the body of a man. The opposite way to resolve a mark. She made a fifty-nine thousand profit in ki.
Ethan didn’t know where she got the money to purchase a spaceship for our traveling business. We made a big profit by going to different countries and continents in the wide ice world. Later, like he said before, they began to lose ki…there was too much competition.
Ethan didn’t know his wife lied to him; but as-soon-as we were being hunted down by Headhunters, she told him the whole truth. Now they are running for their lives because he’s protecting her.
He had no choice…she wouldn’t let Ethan…she loves him. He quickly attached the barrel to the shoulder battery, gripping the trigger.
She took the Longman laser rifle from Ethan as two plasma bursts nearly hit them.
These Headhunters weren’t playing around. They missed a jump onto a nearby iceberg. They fell into the freezing water, but it didn’t faze them; not cold at all since they both had taken the Hunter’s Nirvana.
They had to dive in, then they had to land their spaceship. They came at them with plasma guns while Ethan popped-up, flanking them, making a distraction; then Killarla came out of the icy waters and used the Longman.
Dead…two killed. She wouldn’t let him protect her as she sniped two more that were coming at them. Then there was a massive pop and they and the worms felt the concussive force.
One Warhawk spacecraft down and Ethan came over to her. She called him by his first name, Ethan, and he spoke to her…
Killarla, why did you take my rifle? Did you know I would die for you?
She shook her head. "No, I will not let you. It’s my fault we were almost killed. I will turn myself in. I can’t let you be hunted too, I got greedy…and—I love you, Ethan Everton. I can’t let you have a price on your head.
He detached the Longman rifle from her and hugged her.
Look Honey, stealing a mark is a dangerous offense, they could lynch you for that.
He started to head toward the Headhunter’s spacecraft to see if there were more inside, but before they could walk inside on the entrance ramp, Creature wolves scared them away.
Ethan’s not a poacher looking to kill Creatures, illegally, for their meat, fur, and Hunter’s Nirvana. He wanted to survive, and besides, it’s not worth killing animals on Ice Rock for a paid permission slip.
Ethan had no choice but to reach high ground to shoot and cut the wolves with his wife. Killarla had a knife on her and once a wolf exploded by the laser rifle shots, little was left of them. While she scared the other wolves away with her knife.
They went back quickly to the Headhunter’s spaceship. Once they ran up to the deck on the inside, they heard a television on in the nearby bridge. The door was wide open; they looked to have run off. President Jack Holeson was making a speech and he said the names of the prisoners that they let go. They turned their lives around during prison time, and one was found framed and innocent.
After Ethan’s eyes were glued to the television, he heard nothing but silence after he pulled the plug. She was gone, my soulmate was missing—
Ethan searched everywhere in the spaceship; there was no trace of her, maybe she was caught by the Headhunters, or a wolf…ate her alive…who knows?
Ethan went to see if her com was still working. She’s not answering…he hoped she was safe. Here’s a pair of binoculars, he decided to use them, nope, still no sign of her. He just wanted to protect her, now she might be dead.
Ethan guessed he had two more miles of walking-time left before the Nirvana he ingested wears off; he better keep moving.
He’ll back-track to his town from where those Headhunters chased him from. He knows Ice Rock very well as a traveler, and-so he’s off.
Chapter 2
There were many spaceships in the sky tonight, and like a desert these ice plains were barren. It was going to be close if Ethan’s going to survive the path northeast, he chose.
The reason he took the Badlands route was to secure more Nectar if needed. Only the icy creatures that lived in these crazy-cold plains could survive. They had a special organ that they called Hunter’s
