Dung: An Interpretation of the Frank N. Furter Sci-Fi Masterfece
()
About this ebook
Author Dick Midnight has taken familiar sci-fi themes and created poop parodies. Dung tells the story of Poo of Assakis, the ordained leader of the desolate mining planet Aturdies, a spherical litter box occupied by dangerous scatworms. The planet is the galactic sector's mining hub for fiber.
The following is an exerpt from Dung:
"Aturdies was foreboding. The ever-present paradox. Despite shunning life at every opportunity, it was critical to the pecking order of power that determined stability across the region. Exterior civilizations mined the planet for a vital ingredient that dictated the fortunes of dynasties.
Fiber. Its significance magical. Mystical. It provided a clarity. Of physicality. And with it, a clarity of mind. Of progression. Without the fiber, there was no advancement. Only discomfort. With the fiber, all things seemed possible. Its ability to flush the system set in motion discoveries unimaginable without it. For when fiber was removed from the equation, the results were of monumental consequence. The system craved removal, but that desire was thwarted.
It was for this reason everyone wanted it. Needed it. And therefore, spent exorbitant resources to mine it. They craved it, and craved the control it was capable of providing.
Those who had the fiber had the power."
For the first time, the Frank N. Furter masterfece is retold, in stunning description. Is this retelling as crappy as the movies? You be the judge.
Dick Midnight
Dick Midnight is a badass. He is also the master of pseudo-biographical mythological erotica, or mytherotica, for short. His stories have been must reads among an established cult following that discovered the works in the recesses of the deep internet. Now, for the first time, the extensive Dick Midnight catalog is gradually being made available in more accessible online venues. For centuries, eons even, artists like Dick Midnight have warned of the dangers of the creatures of our mythology, looming in the shadows, on the fringes of civilization. But as science and academia have taken hold and proclaimed Gods and beasts as little more than figments of our active imaginations, we have let down our guard. When an unexplained abduction occurs, and Dick Midnight's services are requested, his double duty begins. He is at once monster slayer, damsel rescuer, and entertaining, engrossing, erotica wordsmith.A complex personality with his own inner demons, Dick Midnight can be aloof and distant, intense and quippy, and often seemingly on the verge of spinning out of control. But damn, can he write.

Poo of Assakis had been ordained as a savior from the moment of conception. His mother, a member of the Biotic-Digesterate, willed his gender. He survived the swigging of the Bismolnium-Peptilis, a congealing pink poison that only killed the male of the species.
The Biotic-Digesterate were a race of sorcerers, gifted with, among other things, the ability to determine a child’s gender at birth. In this particular instance, in the House of Assakis, the child was supposed to be female. That’s what her coven, which passed their unique skills of tele-intestinal suggestiveness through the female, demanded. But Poo’s mother resisted those requirements and took a risk.
Because her husband wanted a boy. An heir to their family progression. She knew it was dangerous, but love trumped the expectations of her kind, and so the desires of her beloved mate won. In this capacity, she was antibiotic to her ilk; probiotic to the man she pledged devoted allegiance.
And thus came Poo. The odds of survival, of course, were all but non-existent. But ordained saviors are not gifted that legacy because they were just like any other birth. Poo was obviously unique. As such, his designation was assured, well before he could comprehend its meaning and responsibilities.
A designation that placed him directly into a line of ascension. He was Assakis, the lineage of a proud house in this portion of the ever-expansive universe. Unfortunately, Assakis influence was not so fortunate. It was waning. Important to be sure. Notable. But its ability to control events in the region was being overwhelmed by the audacity of other Houses emboldened by opportunity.
It was for this reason Poo and his family resided on Aturdies, the most important planet in the sector.
Aturdies was foreboding. The ever-present paradox. Despite shunning life at every opportunity, it was critical to the pecking order of power that determined stability across the region. Exterior civilizations mined the planet for a vital ingredient that dictated the fortunes of dynasties.
