The story starts twelve months before the extraordinary events begin to occur which will transform so many lives. There’s a lot of juicy backstory in here, as well as two glossaries covering all the characters that get mentioned.

It motivates them to embark on an adventure into the forest to an occult place where they used to make wishes when they were young.
