It was a cold beginning of a new year and a new adventure for Queen Vernita. In this new adventure, Queen Vernita was visiting her friends in the part of the Land of Quails called New England. The Queen and her young friends Tristan and Gracey had taken a small boat to a lighthouse that sat on a rocky island. It was a beautiful view of the vast ocean in which the boats would come into the harbor. Tristan and Gracey lived in the lighthouse. They slept in bedrooms near the top of the tower, and they could look out and see over the ocean for miles and miles. It was beautiful.

On Monday the queen learned that this lighthouse was called Cape Neddick Light. It stands on Nubble Island and is also known as Nubble Lighthouse.

On Tuesday they learned how to light the huge beacon of light set on top of the lighthouse.
