The Risen Lily of the Valley - Auty R. Howard
Introduction
C:\Users\rinz\Pictures\banners\Acbj8n6Ki.pngMy name is Auty Howard. I am an ordained license minister and prophetic coach. This is the story of my life and my testimony. This has not been an easy book to write. I am writing this book because God has told me to tell my story. The memories I have are painful at times and hard to talk about. To be honest, due to the nature of my abuse and drug use, I have large gaps of memory loss. Holy Spirit has revealed many things to me I have suppressed. Like an onion, God has gently peeled back layers of deep wounds in my soul and brought inner healing to me. It is a process. If I mention any names of my family members in this book, please understand I have purposely changed their names to protect their identities. Even as I write this, God is in the process of healing and restoring my family. I have also changed the name of various people mentioned in this book to protect their identities.
It is no surprise to me God has chosen me to help restore others while He restores me. Psalm 40:2: says, He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.
God has called me to partner with Him and help pull others out of the horrible pit and miry clay just as He did me so many years ago. As you read my story, may you have faith and hope to believe God can rescue you. Nothing is impossible for God. May you know His saving grace and the power of His love for you.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
~Psalm 139:13
Chapter 1
C:\Users\rinz\Pictures\banners\Acbj8n6Ki.pngI was born on April 9, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan. My Mom was born in Detroit. My biological father left my mother when she was about nine months pregnant with me. I never saw him until I was older. I learned he asked family members how I was. As a result of my biological dad leaving, my mother suffered greatly from abandonment and rejection. These feelings and spirits were transferred to me while I was in my mother’s womb.
I have counseled many people in my ministry and as a prophet, I can see prophetically what spirits and emotions were transferred from the mother to the child, even while they were in their mother’s womb. Spirits are like germs. You don’t see them but they can be transferred from one person to another without that person’s knowledge.
Shortly after my biological father left my mother, she married my stepfather, who was my biological father’s brother. My stepfather hated my biological father and they were bitter enemies. It is my understanding my biological father had once beaten my stepfather severely and my stepfather never forgave him for it. I don’t know why my mother married my stepfather but I do know she was nine months pregnant with me and was extremely vulnerable.
Different family members have shared bits and pieces to of my family history to me and from what they have said and also what God has revealed to me, my stepfather married my mother as a way of getting back at my biological father. He even claimed he was the father on my birth certificate. The Lord revealed to me this was my stepfather’s way of taking revenge against my biological father. My stepfather was the only father I ever knew and he raised me and my siblings. He was an alcoholic and a very evil, vindictive, satanic man. Growing up, he beat me continuously. He truly hated me because I looked like his brother. He physically and verbally abused my mother, me, and my sisters. I also have brothers but they did not live with us.
My stepfather was a coal miner when he worked. He was involved in underground activities and was also a 33rd Degree Freemason. Freemasonry is an ancient occultic religion that worships Satan. He would threaten to mark my siblings and me with the number 666
and judge us one day,
telling us he was Satan himself.
My stepfather hated me from the moment he laid eyes on me because I looked like my biological father. As a result, I suffered deep emotional wounds and emotional trauma at the hands of this man that would increase over the years. He began physically abusing me as a baby. The physical abuse I suffered was his way of getting revenge with my biological father. At the time, my mother worked at a hospital as an x-ray technician. One night she left me in the care of my stepfather. While she was at work, my drunk stepfather beat me severely until I was black and blue. I was only nine months old at the time and probably crying for my bottle. It’s a miracle he didn’t kill me. When my mother came home, to her horror she discovered I was swollen like a little balloon.
You might not think that babies can remember traumatic incidents at nine months old like I experienced, but trust me, they do. As the Lord formed my prophetic gifting, he taught me about the root causes of problems in people’s lives. He taught me trauma not only causes emotional damage such as mental illness, but it also causes physical damage as well. I have worked with countless people and I can tell you from my own experience, those emotional wounds and traumas will hold on to people inside of their bodies. They can attach themselves to cells, organs, and other places in the body, causing medical problems such as sickness and disease. Those wounds and traumas will stay there and eat away at their health unless they are dealt with.
For as long as I can remember, my mother was a Christian woman. You may wonder why she didn’t just leave my stepfather, especially when he started abusing me and my siblings. The truth is she wanted to very badly. She was terrified of him but my stepfather had many contacts and he was extremely vindictive. He had connections in the police department and in the town justice system where we lived.
One incident that gives an example of my stepfather’s power and influence comes to mind. One night, my stepfather was driving while drunk. My siblings and I were with him at the time. We were very young. He got into an accident and it’s a miracle we weren’t all hurt or killed. My stepfather wasn’t arrested. The judge told the police to bring all of us home, including my stepfather. After we were home, my stepfather went back out. He got his car and was driving drunk. Sure enough, he had another accident. Again, the judge told the police not to charge my stepfather. After the third time, the judge had my stepfather’s
