My heart calls out to the many single men and women out there desiring to be in a godly relationship but is yet to find the man or woman of their dreams. I know for some, the possibility of finding the one or being found now seems almost impossible after several years in waiting but then we serve a God with whom all things are possible.

Date-Right is by no means exhaustive but is a practical and insightful guide to dating and to finding the one. It also addresses the many reasons for singleness and how to overcome them.

My heart’s desire is that as you read this book that the Lord will impart unto you the wisdom to find that person with whom you are best able to fulfill your purpose in life and to be all that He has called you to be.

Introduction

Life is all about relationships, the first and most important of them, being our relationship with our heavenly father!  And while many are happy to stay at the level of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at the new birth, access to the deep things of the Spirit of God often goes beyond the new birth experience. It involves regular intimate fellowship with the Lord in the place of prayer. That’s where God reveals His secrets to us.

So, if you want to know more about the deep things of God, including whom to date, then you’ve got to have regular fellowship with the Spirit of God. You’ll be amazed at how much He’ll reveal to you!

Finding Me, Finding You

Dean brushed his pair of black leather shoes until they shone-he was on a date with Evelyn. It’s his fifth date in ten months and all his dates have one thing in common-they all belong to the worship team of his local church.

Exciting isn’t it? For Dean perhaps, but not for these girls who are being picked and dropped after a few outings.

We all want to be loved and accepted but finding the right guy or girl with whom to share our world can be very daunting in a society where it’s all about what we want as opposed to what we need and often times, the people we think are best suited to us don’t always have what it takes to go with us on the long haul. This is why we need to enlist the help of Him who knows all things-the Holy Spirit.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13 (NIV)

The Holy Spirit is God’s compass for His children and when we ignore Him, we miss out on the Father’s best for our lives.
