The sun shone through my bedroom window and I could hear the birds singing outside; their twittering seemed so deafening that it felt like bombs exploding in my head. I opened my eyes and everything was just a blur, but then it slowly dawned on me that I’d been out partying again and had had another night drinking far too much than was good for me.
