About this ebook
The story is about a powerful mobster, who is angry with his bookkeeper. The man, Howard Aimright wanted to leave Rory James Montgomery's service. No one does that... Now Big Jim is out to get the man and his whole family. Amy Raven is the last of her little clan. At least she thought so after losing both parents. Big Jim had been partially successful. Now she was left all alone and on the run. Maxwella is Big Jim's best hitman. He was sent to find her and finish the job. Max liked a plain life with few issues that he could not remove as necessary. Yet, when Big Jim tells him to kill the little girl, he finds that he just can not locate the necessary evil inside himself to follow the order. Disobedience, however, always comes with a price. Now Max has to turn from murderer in the night, to hero of the LIGHT.
The little town of Oakwood is not very significant compared to anywhere else in the country, other than the fact it contains the Iris Acres. The Acres are a different kind of place... where the average Iris flower grows many times its normal size. That is not the only thing there that stands head and shoulders above the rest... either. Loads of things live there on the land too. Some of them are also larger than anyone might ever expect to see. The place... is exactly what is needed, when innocence is on the run.
The story begins with a wild bus ride into the night, and hard times that follow, along with more killers too, also right on Amy's heels. Nothing is ever easy that is worth gaining, having keeping, or sharing. Hope you have fun in Oakwood... and come back often! Thank you again for your loyal readership. May the Lord truly bless your life! Please check out my other titles, Blood Moutain, The Dollhouse, Skywriting... and more, more, more.
