No sé si sea capaz de encontrar las palabras exactas para agradecerte todo lo que has hecho por mí durante quince años. Llegué a tu casa solo siendo un joven curioso y en algún punto del camino me diste la visión que me daría la columna vertebral no solo de mi vida personal sino de mi sacerdocio a Orunmila.
Recuerdo como si fuera ayer aquella consulta donde me dijiste que solo Ifá podía darme la familia que buscaba, desde allí es mucho lo que hemos vivido juntos. Me diste aliento cuando quedé en la calle por mis problemas familiares, estuve allí siendo una columna cuando murió mi abuelo, fuiste padrino incluso por encima de tu rol de padre cuando te dije que me gustaba tu hija y cuando muchos pensaban que esa relación duraría, tu siempre supiste ser imparcial y apoyarnos, como hasta el sol de hoy lo has hecho.
Estuviste conmigo hombro a hombro desde la primera consulta que se hizo por la venida de mi hijo, cuando Orunmila ponía a prueba mi fe, diciendo que no había garantía de que el embarazo llegará a buen término, supiste mantener la calma como padre y como abuelo y me impulsaste a estudiar mucho más arduamente para buscar la respuesta a la prueba de IFA me planteaba en ese momento y estuviste allí cuando nació mi hijo, juntos escuchamos su primer llanto.
Es imposible olvidar las tardes sentados en el patio de tu casa, hablando de signos, encaminando desde tu paciencia. Muchas personas han aportado su grano de arena para que pueda ser quien soy y esté dónde esté, pero tú has sido quien ha sabido guiar todo ese aprendizaje, permitiendo conseguir mi propia esencia.
Padrino gracias, jamás me cansaré de decirte que todo cuánto soy y todo cuánto tengo se lo debo a Ifá, por ponerte en mi camino y a ti por haber tenido, la paciencia, la disposición de guiarme incluso en aquellos momentos que ni yo mismo podía.
De la misma forma tengo que agachar la cabeza y reconocer que debido a mis decisiones en los últimos años he tenido que ser un espectador en la distancia, de las circunstancias que has tenido que vivir en estos últimos años, algo que ha dejado una profunda cicatriz en mi vida.
Ahora que siento que por fin he conseguido mi camino, espero que Ifa-Orisa me permitan demostrarte que esto es lo que tú construiste con todo lo que me enseñaste y me has enseñado durante estos quince años.

Te has dado cuenta que cuando vamos a un Itan, con frecuencia escuchamos, que la persona vino a ser grande dentro de la religión, que vino a tener una casa religiosa, que vino a tener muchos ahijados.
