I'm Not Lost. I'm an Explorer: A Guide to Seeing Your Path as a Polymath, Multipotentialite & Renaissance Soul

About this ebook
As a multi-passionate polymath, multipotentialite, or renaissance soul, sometimes it feels like you're just doing everything without much to show for it. And that can be very frustrating.
Others seem like they know where they're going in life, yet here you are, throwing stuff at the wall, and it feels like nothing is sticking or making sense. This feeling is a clear signal to step back and get a big-picture view of things. As a multipotentialite, I've found that when I look at everything together, I can create a picture of where I'm going.
This book is designed to help multi-passionate people, polymaths, multipotentialites, and wanderers learn how to see their path. Here I share how to:
- Make sense of your wandering and exploring through a light consideration of the explorer archetype.
- Focus on what's working for you and let go of what's not.
- Stop getting caught up in rushing and the internal pressure to create everything.
- Release some of the emotional baggage surrounding being an explorer.
- Find some direction as to where you are headed.
Dear Explorer, you are headed somewhere. Sometimes, seeing that is hard because your path isn't linear. But by paying attention to the different cues in your wandering and noticing what's teaching you and coming into your life, you can get a handle on where you're going, especially when you zero in on the themes within it all.
I hope this book helps you get better at seeing where you're headed as a multipotentialite and that it increases your appreciation for the journey you're currently on.

I'm Not Lost. I'm an Explorer - Arcadia Page
Introduction
Has trying to learn and do ALL the things ever left you feeling confused and lost?
I know my multi-passionate antics have often left me wondering if my wandering, spiraling personal path was more than I could handle!
Wanderers and explorers are unique people with a nonlinear approach to life. For them, it's not unusual for interests and skills to disappear into the flow of time, just to resurface once inspiration hits. An interest that was abandoned in childhood could suddenly start to look interesting again, or a piece of knowledge that was totally forgotten turns out to be the key to finally pulling together a creative pursuit in progress.
You may resonate with being a multi-passionate polymath, multipotentialite, or a rain-forest mind. If you're into the MBTI, you might align with being an intuitive perceiver or sensing perceiver. Or you may simply know deep down that you are an explorer. If any of this sounds like you, then this book was created with you in mind.
Although I say that this book is for wanders and explorers, I want you to see yourself as more of an explorer than a wanderer. You may FEEL like a wanderer, but actually, you are an explorer.
I'm really fascinated with the explorer archetype. To me, the explorer is an archetype of discovery, searching, and finding new experiences. The explorer carries the idea of traveling lightly through life and really looking at your experiences, learning from them, and then bringing the lessons from those experiences to the world and to your friends and family. Everyone stands to benefit from your explorations.
However, being an explorer has its challenges. For one thing, others can be hard on you when it comes to your wandering. The modern world puts a lot of emphasis on having everything figured out.
It's as if the common idea is that if you don't have it all clearly mapped out right now, then all of your experimenting and exploring must be a waste of time. People see you trying all of these things: different jobs, hobbies, or whatever. Sometimes when they see this, they may point out how you seem so lost. In a way you are kind of lost, but then not really, because you're looking for something.
There's something you're searching for as you try these different things. You may not be 100% clear on what that is, but the goal of this book is to help you start getting a feel for what that could be.
I want you to know that exploring life is an art, not a waste of time. Your experiences may seem eclectic and all over, but they carry unique and rare value.
As I've gained more understanding of the patterns of my own wandering and exploring, I've come
