Biography Of An Angel - Luan Ferr

    Chapter I

    The Beginning

    ––––––––

In the beginning, before time and space, there was only God, the Eternal Creator, Lord, and Source of all existence. Being Spirit, He dwelled in eternity in perfect communion with Himself as the Trinity.

Desiring to share the love overflowing from His being, God decided to create the universe and spiritual beings in His image and likeness to enjoy eternal fellowship with Him. So, by a free and sovereign act of His will, He projected His creative light, which burst into countless stars populating the primordial darkness. Thus, myriad angelic beings were born, among whom Lucifer, the anointed cherub who reflected divine glory, stood out.

Astonished by the beauty of the newly created angelic hosts, God conceived the idea of creating a paradise that would serve as a glorious home for His winged children. Calling Lucifer, He entrusted him with assisting in shaping this magnificent garden, reflecting the perfection and attributes of the Creator Himself.

Desiring to behold His glory reflected in more and more creatures, the Most High then conceived a new class of angels to also dwell in Eden, and among them, the first of these angels emerged, Heliel.

With immense care and attention, the Creator molded the spiritual essence of Heliel, infusing in him the spark of His own Eternal Spirit. When he opened his eyes to life, the young angel was awestruck by the greatness and splendor of his God. Immediately, boundless love and reverence sprang from his being, directed toward the One who had created him out of pure love.

Initially, Heliel marveled at the darkness and void that prevailed before creation. There was nothing but the infinite ocean of pure potentiality that was God's Eternal Spirit.

Then, by will and love, the Lord projected from Himself a powerful influx of creative light, which expanded, generating expansive waves of energy and matter from nothingness, it was the Big Bang, the germ of all worlds.

From the primordial Chaos gradually emerged galaxies, suns, planets, and all the wonders of the physical universe. Like a divine artist, God shaped inert matter according to His imagination. Heliel watched in rapt admiration as each new beauty emerged from the depths of the Creator.

Soon, the Earth also took shape, with the contours of its continents and seas. God separated the waters from the lands and the skies, delineating the boundaries between the realms of creation. Then, He said:

Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And so it was.

Shortly thereafter, abundant life sprouted from the oceans and the land. Plants, animals, all created beings overflowed with the wisdom, power, and glory of the Most High. It is all very good! exclaimed God. Heliel could only observe in sweet ecstasy of adoration.

Then the Lord presented the newly created angels to each other. Radiating wisdom and majesty, Lucifer was the most powerful among them. Heliel marveled at the beauty and splendor of his angelic brethren.

After the work of creation, God withdrew to rest, satisfied with the work done out of love and wisdom. Everything had been created perfectly to fulfill His sublime purposes. Heliel savored that Sabbath rest in communion with the Father.

And so ended the account of the origin of all things, from Heliel's conception to the creation of the physical universe by the Father. The young angel exulted in being part of that paradise of endless glories conceived in the divine mind even before the beginning of time.

    Chapter II

    The Rebellion

    ––––––––

Heliel was a loyal and obedient angel who served God with devotion in the celestial paradise. He carried out his divine tasks joyfully, praising the Creator for His kindness and mercy. During the Creator's rest, Heliel began to notice a certain restlessness among the angels. Some whispered in corners, questioning God's commands, while others wore stern expressions, murmuring among themselves.

Heliel was perplexed by these rebellious attitudes, which had never been seen before. There had always been harmony and concord among the angels who served God with love. What could be causing this discord?

Concerned, Heliel sought out the older and wiser angels, seeking advice on what to do. They advised him to remain faithful to the divine purposes, ignoring the grumbling. Heliel decided to maintain his routine, praising God with enthusiasm, but deep down, he sensed that something very serious was approaching, a trial that paradise had never faced before.

It did not take long for it to become clear that Lucifer was the great instigator behind all the growing agitation among the angels. Dissatisfied with his position in paradise, the cherub began to spread rebellious ideas and attitudes, openly aiming to undermine divine leadership over the angelic realm. Using his charisma and powers of persuasion, he began to argue that God was unjust and tyrannical in imposing His absolute will on the angels, who should have total freedom to decide their own destiny, without blind submission to orders from the celestial throne.

Many young and impetuous angels, seduced by the rhetoric of freedom and autonomy, were the first to join the rebel movement. They began to idolize the arrogant cherub as a messiah who would lead them into a new golden age of emancipation and glorious achievements. Meanwhile, Heliel watched in shock as Lucifer attracted more and more followers with deceitful and flattering arguments. Even angels who were once pious and loyal, blinded by the captivating rhetoric of the cherub, now openly doubted the goodness and wisdom of the Creator.

As the rebels gained strength, tensions in paradise dangerously escalated. Heated arguments erupted constantly over minor details between Lucifer's followers and the angels loyal to God. The idyllic atmosphere of the heavenly realm was replaced by a dark atmosphere of discord and mistrust.

Deeply saddened but undaunted, Heliel assumed a conciliatory stance between the rival factions, trying to calm the tempers and prevent larger confrontations. He sought to convince both sides to set aside their differences for the sake of peace and harmony. His moderating position soon attracted hostility and contempt from the rebels, who called him a coward and weak for refusing to join the cause of freedom. Lucifer even attempted to recruit him with promises of power and glory, but Heliel remained unwavering in his loyalty to the Creator.

Seeing that his conciliatory efforts only fueled more disdain from the insurgents, the loyal angel decided to take a more energetic stance. He began to publicly denounce the errors in Lucifer's rhetoric, seeking to undermine his pernicious influence over the other angels. His calm voice took on a severe tone of moral authority. Heliel's scathing criticisms caused great anger in Lucifer, who saw him as a serious threat to the success of his subversion plans. The resentful archangel even threatened to exemplarily punish Heliel's arrogance once he assumed total power over paradise.

Despite the growing danger, Heliel was not intimidated. Gradually, his courageous stance inspired the angels still faithful to the Creator to also resist openly the corrupting influence of Lucifer. The struggle between the servants of light and the forces of darkness was about to erupt.

One morning, to the horror of the loyal angels, Lucifer ascended to the highest balcony of paradise and openly declared his rebellion against God's authority. In a powerful voice that echoed throughout the heavenly realm, he incited all the angels to cast off the oppressive yoke of the Creator and join him in achieving the long-awaited freedom.

Thousands of rebels left their dwellings, enthusiastically acclaiming Lucifer's seditious speech. They gathered at the feet of the arrogant cherub, chanting victories in his name with messianic fervor as they prostrated themselves before him, like subjects before a sovereign.

The angels still loyal to the Creator watched this shocking scene with a mix of sadness and revulsion. How could the magnificent spirit of Lucifer become so corrupted as to dare openly challenge the supremacy of the Source of all existence? Something had definitely broken in the once resplendent soul of the cherub, staining it with darkness.

Lucifer continued his fiery speech, promising the angels who joined him that they would soon ascend to positions of great power and authority once they overthrew the divine despot. He already saw himself ruling as the absolute sovereign over the entire paradise, with legions of angels subservient to his whims.

Upon hearing such blasphemous delusions, Heliel could not contain his indignation. With a powerful voice, he rebuked Lucifer for his sacrilegious arrogance and warned the rebels of the terrible consequences of defying the Almighty. However, his protests were drowned out by the boos and threats of the fanatics.

Seeing that any possibility of reconciliation was lost, Heliel gathered the angels still loyal and prepared to guard against an imminent attack by the exalted rebels. He guided the organization of the paradise's defenses, preparing for the inevitable battle. Celestial peace had definitively come to an end.

In the days that followed, Lucifer and his lieutenants worked feverishly to recruit more angels to their rebel cause. Like a skilled politician, the cherub was able to seduce even the more moderate angels with promises of participation in power once the angelic revolution was achieved.

With great sorrow, Heliel saw longtime companions gradually join the rebel ranks, drawn by the prospect of easy ascent within the new order that Lucifer sought to establish. Even angels considered righteous and wise were deceived by the winged demagogue.

Despite the appeals and warnings of Heliel, one-third of the angels eventually allied themselves with the rebel forces. They adopted the title of The Enlightened and subjected the angels loyal to God through intimidation and violence, under the relentless orders of Lucifer.

The angels who remained faithful to the Creator were in greater numbers but had little experience, being mostly young and angelic children. However, they did not falter. United by their love for truth and justice, they would face the hordes of rebels courageously in the name of the light, even at the supreme cost of their own immortal lives. The final battle was about to begin.

    Chapter III

    The Recruitment of the Rebels

    ––––––––

In the turbulent days leading up to the open rebellion, Lucifer worked tirelessly to expand his number of followers, seeking to seduce and convince all hesitant and undecided angels. His manipulative skill seemed to know no bounds.

Starting with the younger and more impressionable angels, he subtly instilled ideas of dissatisfaction and injustice, causing them to question the Creator's authority. Many, flattered by the attention of the powerful cherub, soon let themselves be swayed by his honeyed words and were converted to the rebel cause.

Heliel watched with immense sadness as his more naïve brethren were coopted into the insurgent movement through lies and half-truths. He tried to show them how they were being deceived, but Lucifer had deeply corrupted their once-pure hearts.

As his number of followers grew, Lucifer became increasingly bold in his statements and seditious actions. He went so far as to publicly chastise loyal angels, accusing them of irrational servility to a tyrannical and oppressive God. His impassioned speeches attracted fanatical crowds.

The peak of Lucifer's corrupting influence occurred when he managed to secretly convert venerable angels known for their righteousness and wisdom, like the powerful cherub Rahabim. The fall of noble spirits like these encouraged many neutrals to finally join the rebel cause.

Heliel tried in every way to dissuade Rahabim and the other prestigious angels from the tragic error they were committing. He appealed to their wisdom, reminding them of their former devotion to the Creator. However, his words found no echo in hearts poisoned by pride and ambition.

Amid lies and distorted truths, Lucifer managed to secretly convert a third of the angels to his insurgent cause. The arrogant title adopted by the rebels, The Enlightened, deeply irritated the loyal angels, who saw in it definitive proof of the corrupted nature of their wayward brethren.

The loyal angels did not falter in the face of
