White Apples and the Juice of Loyalty - Thimo Grantz
1. From Rain to the Invisible Sun
Ientered; the doorbell rang. Music poured over me, and I knew I had arrived, finally freed from a day that had been far too long – a day in the rain, dirt and full of excruciating effort; a day when my nerves couldn't take any more tension. On days like that, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. For as long as I could remember, there had only ever been one place I wanted to be, and finally, I was here again. But the moment I stepped further inside and took another deep breath, all those thoughts disappeared of their own accord. They were merely the last remnants of negative impressions that one carries in everyday life through the city, but here they finally dissolved by themselves.
My gaze fell on the bar, which stood slightly elevated in the back, loaded with towers of fruit and vegetables, seeming to have a natural glow around it. I looked up, and finally, I saw
