About this ebook

When Cornelius “Neely” Norton first arrives on the red planet Rojo, he doesn't want to stay long. Just to complete an errand undetected by his politician father and his ex, and then he can go back to his normal life. As if normal ever had anything to offer the trans Neely with a very public life back on earth.

When Jude, a tall and handsome bartender, tries really hard to be his friend on that first night, Neely finds his passions changing. In between rounds of drinks, trivia, and a trip to the tourist traps on Rojo, Jude becomes something more than a friend. When trouble arrives -- as it always does -- Jude is forced between Neely and a decision that could have life-long consequences.

Will Neely complete what he intended to do and forget everything he's learned? Or can he and Jude work out a new way of life on the red planet's surface?

What can I get for you, sir?

Cornelius ‘Neely’ Norton had already decided that he liked the red-rocked planet everyone called Rojo before he stepped inside the first hotel and bar he saw. It was a free planet, the kind that allowed almost anything to happen, including what he needed to do over the next three days. Then again, he’d probably have loved the planet if it had been a slum, if there had been ooky-spooky alien creatures everywhere—he didn’t care if it made him stubborn and not up to his father’s diplomatic standards, tentacles made him feel weird—or if the planet had contained a dozen different clones of his ex-boyfriends from high school. He’d have called it home for the next three days, regardless, because he needed to do something. Fast.

But this man, tall and with a faint dusting of blond hair over his chin, sweetened the deal. He stood against the neon lights of the hotel bar, cutting a dashing silhouetted figure. His bar uniform was tight and exposed the muscles in his upper arms and chest, surely built from years of carrying kegs in a heavier gravity. Everything on Rojo was heavier, including Neely’s eyes. The trip had been long and his boots, not to mention the breasts he still bound against his chest, seemed to weigh double what they had on Earth.

A drink? the man continued. The house special is a Sunburn.

No, I— Neely shut his mouth against the former protest. A sunburn?

The bartender smiled. "Here, let me make
