    THE FAMILY REUNION

    Ambra and her mother both remained there motionless staring at one another, could it really be true that they had found one another after all this time? Ambra had thought her family were lost forever and her mum thought that Ambra had died the day her nest was destroyed.

    It was her mum that spoke first. How did you, what did you? Her mum could not think clearly what to say.

    Ambra said It’s a long story, Mum, a very long story.
