    Vi’s Claim

I never saw myself as the bad guy. However, this city has made me into one. At least that’s what the news would say if I got caught. It’s not easy in this city. Even for someone like me. Most women in this city only dream to have their life together as much as I do. Some might even kill for my CEO position. I did.

Of course, the dollars don’t come rolling in from this company alone. Hardly. Making a living from that company is getting harder every day. However, with the right clients and attitude, a\nd a few sharp knives, you have yourself a recipe for success. And nothing is going to get in my way.

    The Playboy Bunny

    Vi’s POV

You can’t deny it. The city itself is absolutely beautiful at this time of day. The sun is just below the highway hills, and the city lights begin to brighten the roads. I loved this time. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also so easy to get away with my business.

I stood in an alleyway, waiting for my client. They owed me half my pay, and I owed them the heart. My business strategy was simple: get hired, half pay, do the task, prove it, get the other half. I insisted on it being this way. I wasn’t one of those freaks that asked to be paid full and run off with the cash. That was just a one-way ticket to getting yourself killed.

My client finally showed up from her poor excuse of a job. Her costume was sickening to my eyes. I almost felt bad for her. The hell you supposed to be? I asked. Pussy cat, she replied. This week’s special. Animal outfits. She handed me the money with a wink as I gave her the heart.

This must have took you forever to save up for, so I’m gonna ignore the fact you’re hundreds short, I said, maintaining focus on her face, despite her attempts. It’s well worth it. Everyone helped save up for it. She turned away from me to start back to the entrance before looking back at me. How about I get you in for free? I’m sure me and the others can pay off our debt there.

I looked at her in disgust. I hadn’t thought about it, nor did I really want to go. I’d only gotten glimpses of what went on. Ain’t it just a fuck shack for horny, eighty-year-old men? Oh no, babe, she said, grabbing the tie around my neck. Those rumors don’t apply here. She pulled me along with her into the building. She pushed me into one of the chairs and winked at me. Just enjoy the show, dear.

I was on edge in the seat. I didn’t want to be here. One of the waitresses came by and handed me a drink. Our finest, on the house, she said. Consider it as part of the debt. Uh... no need really, you can tell them I’m not holding any grudge for the cash. Then consider it a thank you. We all wanted that guy outta here. How come? I asked, intrigued in the story.

Well aren’t you a devil? she asked playfully. Kept harassing everybody. No matter who it was. Owners got so used to it that they stopped kicking him out. How horrid, I said, leaning back in the chair. Wait until everyone else hears you’re here, she said, walking away with the tray. You’re definitely having some fun tonight.

If I wanted it, I thought to myself. I was honestly uncomfortable here. These types of areas weren’t my cup of tea. Yeah, sure I killed people, but these places were disgusting. It reeked of sin and cheap perfume. How could anyone let themselves work in a place like this? For people like the ones here. Hey, big boy, a voice on my left said. I heard you were the one that got rid of the bad man,

Uh... why? I was suspicious of her. You and me, right now. Free of charge. How ‘bout it? I had to admit, she was beautiful. She had a nice figure and a lovely face. However, I wasn’t interested. The offer’s appreciated, but I don’t swing that way dear. I made it clear that I didn’t want anything to do with her.

Oh, can’t a girl try? she said, climbing onto my lap, I could really use a man like- "I’m not a man, I said. I respectfully made her get off of me. And as I said, I don’t swing that way. I was just about to be leaving. She looked slightly disappointed, but she soon smiled. Oh, don’t go so soon. I’ll go get you someone you’ll like," she said with a wink.

I ignored her comment and took a sip of the drink. Did all of them think I was a man? I shook my head and looked around the room. I wasn’t enjoying this. However, I was a bit curious to see what she’d pull next.

    Pip’s POV

I sat on the bench in the backroom, out of sight of the clients. I sniffed and held back my tears, not needing my makeup running. I wasn’t mentally ready to go back out there, but I was out of days off, and I needed the money. The last
