About this ebook

Gold nuggets are righteous gems pulled from the gold mine called the Bible that God has blessed humanity with. As you ponder on the poetry in this book, traces of gold should fall off the pages and leave you with a greater desire for the mother lode and a heart of gratitude for having invested in this small treasure. In His love, be blessed.

    About the Author

    Introduction

Freely, Freely You Have Received; Freely, Freely Give

Poetry (I believe) has been a part of me since before I can remember, though I never started writing until seventh grade. Jesus has been Lord of my life since age twenty-three and has since been a catalyst to my mind, helping change the flow of gift in me to speak more clearly of Him. While cleansing me with His presence, He is and always will be unchanged at my relationship to Him. I am so thankful!

I've been allowed many experiences in my walk, which have brought me the blessings of an obedient heart, and the chastening of the Lord when needed—too often, I must confess. Through it all, at the age of sixty-one, I can say I have learned that His grace is sufficient for my many inefficiencies, and the freedom of that understanding blesses me to write without fear of the One I love!

Paula, my wife and God-send, works diligently at typing my chicken scratch. Her mom, whom I call my mom, encourages me and is an incredible spellchecker; and sister Lin, you are a blessing!

    Be blessed
