About this ebook
A war between two rival Covens, "Nightshadow Dew" and "Hidden Hand". Crime, witchcraft, and pacts with rival entities.
Cedric (Vodou hougan) and his girlfriend Emma (incorporation medium) are from the "Hidden Hand". Let's say it's a good Coven, it contains other members like Penelope (Wiccan witch), Evelyn, and Leonard (Santería practitioner).
The rival Coven, more satanic, is "Nightshadow Dew" led by Jonas, his girlfriend is Isabella; and other members are Lou and Ella (a necromancer). The story takes place in New Orleans.
During the adventure, entities such as Baron Samedi, Damballa, Santa Muerte and Lucifer intervene.
This is the author's fourth book, with six chapters and 77 pages of pure adventure and emotion.

War Between Covens - Aleena bot
In a world that walked closely with mythical possibilities, the Bombay Club stood as a haven of mystique in the heartbeat of New Orleans, an enigmatic realm nestled in the shadows of the city's history. As it was known, the club was a haven for those who walked the line between light and darkness, where the mysteries of witchcraft, magic, and spirituality coalesced into a swirling dance of intrigue and danger.
The murmurs of patrons inside the club created a symphony of hushed conversations and laughter woven tightly into the club’s existence.
At a corner table, beneath the soft glow of an amber-hued chandelier, sat Cedric, the leader of the Coven known as Hidden Hand
. His features bore the essence of his world. His short, raven-black hair framed a countenance that carried the weight of both wisdom and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. His fair skin contrasted aesthetically with his hair.
The talisman around his neck, an heirloom passed down through generations, rested proudly on his chest, its unique design glinting in the candlelight. His eyes, though fixed on the shifting currents of the room, seemed to reach beyond the veil of the mundane, as if he were attuned to the very pulse of the universe.
As the distant strains of a melancholic piano drifted through the air, Cedric’s gaze shifted slowly around the interior of the Bombay Club. Finally, his eyes returned to the small crystal cup before him and he picked it up.
Cedric gulped down the last content of the glass and immediately followed with a prolonged sigh. He was out for a drink at the club. It was a very popular and usually crowded club in New Orleans. Emma, his girlfriend, was seated directly on the opposite side of his table.
Want another one?
Emma asked, leaning in with her brows raised slightly.
I think I’ll take a break now,
he replied. His voice carried a strange chill that Emma quickly associated with the gin he had just downed. It was winter and very cold outside, but the atmosphere inside the bar was welcoming. Almost cozy.
Emma continued staring at him with sharp and curious eyes. Her beauty was only surpassed by the fierce intelligence in her eyes. She had long, flowing brown hair that cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall. Emma seemed to possess an otherworldly allure that drew others like moths to a light. They were sitting at the table, waiting for their friends.
Suddenly, Cedric sighted his old and former friend, Jonas. Announcing his presence with noisy strides from his boots, Jonas strolled into Bombay with his glamorous girlfriend, Isabella, next to him, Jonas heavily adorned chest making clunking sounds as his jewels danced against one another in the distance.
Cedric was soon queasy. The atmosphere is already polluted,
he said coldly, I think I’ll pass on that break and have another drink.
Emma pursed her lips together, her brows knitting in consternation. She turned around and searched for the always-moving waiter and signaled for another round of drinks. With a satisfied nod, the waiter acknowledged her and swiftly made his way toward the bar. Turning back to her boyfriend, Emma's eyes softened with a mix of concern and curiosity.
Babe, you and Jonas were such good friends, explain to me what really happened? How did you come to hate each other so much?
Emma asked in a low voice.
The words hung in the air, a weighty question that seemed to demand an answer. Cedric's face tightened, his jaw clenching as if he were fighting back a torrent of emotions.
Real friends don't stab each other in the back, spreading lies and saying they're better,
Cedric said with an obvious and building anger in his tone as he spoke, ...Plus, in the past, he helped a relationship fall apart.
He continued.
His gaze was distant, lost in the past that seemed to have etched itself deep into his memory.
Emma was still confused, and her expressions did nothing to hide it. She squeezed her brows as she spoke softly, But what lies did he divulge?
She insisted, her words laced with a determination to unearth the truth.
You know he also has a Coven, right?
Cedric asked.
Emma nodded, her gaze fixed on him, urging him to continue.
It’s called the ‘Nightshadow Dew’, and they think they are better than our Coven,
said Cedric, his tone laced with a palpable disdain.
Yes, but unfortunately, there is a lot of rivalry between Covens,
. She remarked, her voice carrying a touch of sorrow. She knew all too well the complexities and tensions that could arise within the tightly-knit world of Covens, where differences and competition often led to fractures that ran deep.
As if on cue, the waiter reappeared, bearing a tray of drinks.
The clinking of glasses and the pleasant aroma of the concoctions filled the air, momentarily distracting them from the weight of their conversation.
And his girlfriend Isabella, who thinks she's wisdom personified, also spreads shit about me in her magazines,
Cedric continued, taking a swig of whiskey.
"Love, don't bother too much about these things. It's the price of being the leader
