Jair Bolsonaro's story  

Jair Bolsonaro was born on March 21, 1955, in  

the city of Glicério, his origin comes from a  

family of Italian and German immigrants, he  

spent most of his adolescence in the city of  

Eldorado, in the interior of the state of São  

Paulo.  

Bolsonaro served in the Brazilian Army for 30  

years, being retired at the rank of Captain.  

Bolsonaro entered politics in 1988, when he  

was elected councilor for the state of Rio de  

Janeiro. He was elected federal deputy in 1991,  

and re-elected in 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006,  

2010, 2014 and 2018.  

Bolsonaro is a transparent and authentic  

politician. Where, on several occasions, he was  

wrongly accused by the extreme left of racism,  

misogyny and homophobia.  

However, Bolsonaro has always proved his  

innocence in the face of such untrue,  

irresponsible and cowardly accusations. He is a  

charismatic and determined politician, in  

addition to having strong popular support,

In 2018, Bolsonaro was elected president of  

Brazil. He defeated PT candidate Fernando  

Haddad in the second round of elections.  

Bolsonaro was sworn in as president on January

Currently, under the PT government (left),  

Brazil is experiencing a deep economic crisis, a  

growing wave of violence, legal insecurity, and  

social fragmentation, and a sense of impunity, is
