It is the author’s final documentary book on COVID-19, number Eight as it ended! A total series of Eight books covering, from author’s perspective, the entire journey, since the very beginning of SARS-COV-2 Late 2019. Memoirs are written as events had occurred and interpreted with the author’s personal views and experiences. The book contains much of the author’s philosophically and spiritual meditations as well. The last year of COVID Pandemic is an interesting transition to what is known as the “New Norm”. Many stories of daily events are shared, not only as a frontline Physician, Anesthesiologist and Neurosurgeon but also as a Christian believer with deep spiritual reflections on various events accompanied COVID-19 pandemic! It is a Time to Give a Shout to My Mom!!

My parents drove me early morning to Cairo Airport to catch my TWA flight (Trans World Airlines) on 10/4/1984! My beautiful mom told me the following words at Cairo Airport as she was hugging me and kissing me non-stop and holding me with her arms and didn’t let me go and screamed and cried in tears before I left Egypt in my tripe to America, a journey I took single-handed with no return.

At that time, my inward soul was fearful and overwhelmed for what I would do and face in a completely strange land with foreign people, to where to stay and who will help me as I had no body at all! My mom was so heartbroken much much more than my dad for me leaving! My dad thought that it was against being nationalist to leave Egypt and to stay like my ancestors to the degree that my mom told my dad in tearful voice: "My kids are leaving me because you haven’t helped them and made it possible for them to find career in Egypt!!

My mom final words to me, blessed her soul 10/4/1984:

Son I have never thought you will leave me! But I can’t be selfish and keep you around me! You have to follow your future and career of medicine academia and Neurosurgery Dream. You have no future in Egypt. I have no money to give you! I don’t know anyone to help you! I am not connected. I am not educated or enjoy a prestige position to help you. I am a lonely mother left behind after all in tears to loss you! But one thing I do is to pray to my lord Jesus to be with you and put all the good hearted people before you. Your heart is special and your kindness beyond limits but your sensitivity and naivety will make many take advantage of you

And since then I neither went back to Egypt nor I was there to be with my mother or for her!!! And since then despite the darkest of dark, God calls upon the good souls to cross my way and lift up my broken heart! God my Heavenly Father have never forgotten my lowliness!!

It was my mom’s dream to come and live in America and have all her children around as it was always the tradition over thousands of years in the ancient habitual Egyptian and Coptic Christian cultures! But that time never ever came! She passed away too soon and the children were further away from her and each other!!! I My soul is still waiting for That Day!

My soul is aching missing my mom and dad much. They both left me so soon before I could do more as those days won’t ever come back and history couldn’t be altered!

To all the innocent blood I saved, those victims I rescued and all those I cared for and taught, it is a day and a time to give a big shout to my mom in heaven for my Lord Jesus to send her my love and to care for her and for all the mothers and fathers that raised children to be the sons and daughter of Lord Jesus the Heavenly Father and had to leave their parents abroad!!!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forevermore

My Patients are Forever Family Members!

Our angel patient paid a visit out of her kindness to the clinic that both Charlene and Frank and children visited so many times for her surgery. Charlene is one of the most genuine patient that I have ever met, years after her surgery, she hasn’t forget and her kind words are fingerprints of her heartfelt appreciation and testimonial to her compassion!!

So many wall pictures are hanged of Charlene and her family. It is a second comfort home to visit full of good memories that made experience of her surgery blessed.

Charlene thank you and may our Lord comfort your heart with the departure of our beloved Frank as He also bless his soul!

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. My Blessed Miracle Patient Two Decades Ago: A True Story of Bob Wals

Twenty years ago, I stood against the establishment and I declared Bob wasn’t in Coma but the world around him was: Bob has always been alive and man shall not take his life away against God’s will!

Almost two decades ago, a patient was placed on hospice to die because he was in a permenant coma and vegetative state as a result of inoperable brain tumor transferred from downtown hospital after three brain surgeries to Joliet hospital.

Patient’ family were very attentive to the patient and were so loving . The wife Ginny Wals spend day and night with her dying husband following the doctors recommendation that he was suffering from inoperable brain tumor and he is in Permenant coma and will never wake up!

However, the wife noticed that her husband Bob has life in himself and did purposeful movements at night and was sleeping and snoring in the morning when physicians made their rounds!

Day after day in the hospital, her husband wasn’t dying and she refused to allow the doctors and nurses to give him sedatives or to dehydrate him and starve him to death!

The wife was telling the nurses and doctors tgat her husband wasn’t in coma but rather he was sleeping and his routine sleep during the day and awoke at night! No one listened to wife and thought she was emotionally irrational!

One day after she gave up in the doctors and nurses telling them their observations, to have a second opinion and at that time my reputation was just starting!

I remember when I was called for second opinion, I was asked to agree with the current plans and the wife was being unrealistic!

I went to see the patient and I met the wife and looked at the films. My first look at Bob, I felt shivering in my body and I felt life in him and he wasn’t in coma as they were told and forced to believe and the brain did not look terminal. I saw a man wanted to live and God didn’t want him to die. I saw that his time wasn’t over yet and doctors we’re taking his life away! I felt as if someone was suffocating him! I leaned at his shoulder and I told him Bob, we love you, Lord Jesus has a mission for you and want you to live for it before He take you to Him and I will take care of you and tomorrow you will be home I saw the tears were running from his eyes. It angered my soul to see how can hospitals allow lives to be taken away so soon and playing God! I immediately agreed with the wife and disagreed with the world around her!

I declared that Bob wasn’t in Coma but the world around him was: Bob has always been alive and man shall not take his life away against God’s will!!

I took Bob to surgery and I cared for him afterwards. Bob made the best recovery, wake up from sleep, enjoyed his family and his grand daughter that he was so attached to her until he died five years later!

Ginny his wife what an angel! She never gave up in her husband despite everyone around her said she was crazy to have me do Bob fourth brain surgery and gave him chance to live! She was told after all, you were going to disagree with downtown professors and agree with Dr Ghaly, graduated three years after residency and had no experience!

The story astonished the community and was written in Chicago Tribune June 10, 2001 as featured article by Mary Daniel, Tribune Staff Reporter, May her soul be comforted entitled: A Miracle Worker https://www.chicagotribune.com/.../ct-xpm-2001-06-10...

The picture below was by a Chicago tribune photographer was sent to make sure and the reporter interviewed so many tines Ginny to confirm the story and the miracle!

I wonder how many patients, we let them go so soon and we okay God to them and their families that otherwise should have been alive like Bobs!

O man who are you to okay God and take the life of innocent patients away!

I visited him and his family many times until Bob passed away five years later. Since then, Bob and his family in my heart and prayers!

The Human Brain Finds Rest in the Lord!

The Human Brain is eternal. The human mind made by the Word of God. The human brain will never die as when its partner the physical brain dies away, the spiritual brain liveth and liberates up high to God where it came from. Therefore the human brain will never settle in any thing less than eternity. Nothing in the world will fulfill the desires of the eternal human brain. No matter how high the human brain fly above the clouds? How much discoveries the human brain makes? How much sophisticated equations the human brain solves? No matter how high the human mind reaches, it will never satisfy its eternal divine nature. Soon the human brain realizes he wasn’t created for the world but to do the will of God because nothing in the world but the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life as it is written; (1 John 2:15-17) "[15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The human brain during its earthly journey lives in turmoil and torment as it searches its nature and finally finds rest in the Lord. The human brain came from God and in God the human brain finds rest. The human brain roams in earth but its destiny is in God and to God the human brain shall go: As it is written: (Matthew 11:28-30) [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. And (Exodus 33:14) [14] And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Job’s Brain after years of turmoil found its rest in the Lord

Job’s brain initially looked at the surface only but toward the end Job spiritual brain opened and looked deeper beyond the matter and said to the Lord: (Job 42:5-6) [5] I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. [6] Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Yet when Job’ mind looked superficially at the matter, Job wished to die, cursed the day he was born, all things were dark before his eye: As it is written: (Job 3:1-13) 1] After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. [2] And Job spake, and said, [3] Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. [4] Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it. [5] Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. [6] As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months. [7] Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein. [8] Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning. [9] Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: [10] Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’s womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes. [11] Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? [12] Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck? Disparity and Healing!!

As the nation strives for Equity, it is essential to strive for healing as well and reduce any tension and miscommunication that may arise including convey of wrong messages that might distract the nation from the True Spirit of DEI!!

As the rise of awareness in Racial Disparity and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), I observe a concomitant rise in tension among the groups of populations!! In other words, awareness of DEI may result in unwanted events such as revenge, hate, anger,— since Not everyone has love, forgiveness, openness,——.

With education of historic wrongdoing committed in the past, hard feeling and anger usually originate. Although they were our forefathers and ancestors but weren’t the present groups that carried out atrocities and discrimination!!

Indeed, it should start now but also for the roots to grow, it will take decades starting at home and kindergarten schools for those children to form a nation of DEI!!! It will take all the worshipping places to educate their children and for their children to form a nation of DEI!!

The seed is implanted successfully and finally in the good ground now, it will take years and years to see the tree grows up and up giving rise to branches, leaves and finally the fruits!!!!

Therefore as highly educated Nation, How to reduce the tension among various groups such as colored and not colored, minority and majority, poor and rich and various faiths??

I hope to see with every lecture, event, education and various policies, reinforce more and more be accompanied by ways of the following Key Words:

Love

Forgiveness

Awareness

Talk about it and venting

Acknowledgement and admission

Redirect wrong thoughts and divert of wrongdoing

Moving forward

Unity

CG, You are so correct. To succeed DEI requires removing all the biases and creating an equitable environment where underrepresented groups feel comfortable and secure. Right now it’s only getting worse in our country, you correct when you said it would take decades

REJECTION!!

Sometimes Rejection is Divine’s Way to Protect You

Rejection could be for your own good in the long run!

Rejection could be a God message to intervene for something much valuable snd good for your soul!

Rejection could be for your own salvation!

Man is vulnerable wile serpent is a snake and wiled and God may allow rejection to occur to rescue a man from the hands of darkness!!

Although rejection is perceived as failure and accompanied with sadness, anger and feeling of loss, yet not all rejections are failures and many are for our own good!

Perhaps, if I have kept walking in that road and wasn’t rejected, it will have ended unto danger!!

Attractive road may lead to death if not rejected early!! Proverbs The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. [12] There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. [13] Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. [14] The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.14:11-14 KJV

Perhaps, if that relationship continued and wasn’t rejected, it will have led to a major disaster!

Rejection is indeed a wakeup call to reflect and see beyond the rejection! Rejection could be a positive thing and not a negative one!

Pray so that God open the eye ️ to see, the ears to hear and the mouth to speak ️

Draw ✍️ the Names of the Most High God the Lord the Creator of all things seen and unseen and promise Him of your unrelenting loyalty, faith and prayers requesting from Him the strength, help and the measures of achieving the impossible dream of your life to fulfill His purpose bestowed upon you since you were in the womb!!

Draw ✍️ the Spiritual Divine guests to your historic meeting to give birth to your lifetime dream and to help you put the ground of your lifetime dream and establish the foundation of that dream Not made by hands of man but by the Holy Spirit and your two invisible guardian angels!

Draw ✍️ for yourself a limitless upper limit dream so high unreachable beyond the clouds ️ ⛅️ !

Draw that lifetime impossible dream that shall serve you will in heaven and earth that dream the because of which many shall watch you snd give glory to God and that dream you trade the gifted talents that God grant you to serve His name and that dream that allow you to accumulate treasures in heaven and not on earth!

Draw ✍️ the celebratory steps and enjoy those successes knowing it take the first step to climb a mountain as it takes the first stone to build a temple and life journey is cumulative steps in a ladder to reach heaven where that dream of your lifetime shall follow! Always strive for grade A and never look at plan B but always steadfast at my plan A!

Draw ✍️ the failure times and learn from them while taking the necessary steps to recover and redirect your passion and love from where you have fallen, remember while you are sanding guard yourself from falling!

Draw ✍️ the dark times, lift yourself up , reinsert the Hope and faith always remember there is tomorrow as the sun ☀️ follows the night, the light comes after a long dark night and as your body needs nourishment so is your dream needs nourishment and supplemental vitamins and minerals knowing sometimes the dream state gets sick and needs diagnosis and appropriate time intervention such as antibiotics or surgery to recover in its healthy form and aging bring wisdom to your lifetime dream and not physical flesh as God Almighty shall rejuvenate your lifetime dream as eagles in the strength and flying high!

Draw ✍️ the reasons of sometimes you feel you no longer you have strength to pursue the dream of your lifetime or you ever believe you are hunted or the envy of others are catching up on your soul or the enemies for your dream are much stronger than your capabilities and threw them at the feet of Lord Jesus asking Him to take them away from you and your mind, protect you from every evil and restore back the strength to walk in the path to your lifetime dream !

Draw ✍️ the names of those inducing negative energy and giving you false positives in your life distracting you from the steadfast dream, the self served, the high maintenance, the fake, the false and those dragging you down slowing you and putting unnecessary heavy burden upon you from achieving the positive steps toward your goals!

Draw the names of names of those always criticize you constructively and listen to them first and the names of those applauding your positive progress and listen to them second but never inflate your ego or think high of yourself and fill your soul with false pride!

Draw ✍️ the Name of the Most High and always give him Thanksgiving and the Holy that He deserve for every positive step telling the devil that your performance success is because of God mostly that live you so much snd die for you, Jesus Christ His Name!

Draw ✍️ a reminder and put it before your dight close to your ears that life is too short and so much to accomplish in that extreme short like vapor of human earthly journey for which you will give account at that Day and Judge your entire eternal future!

Draw ✍️ the scheduled time daily that you stand before the Lord and bow to His Majesty in tears praying humbly with your lowly soul to God the Lord to examine yourself, to forgive your shortcoming and to thank Him for all the gifts to your unworthy soul asking Him to keep His promise toward you to succeed in your mission toward that dream of your lifetime casting away all the evils in your going in and going out!

When the time come for your soul to depart, all those treasures you have earned shall follow you up and bd written in the book of life where you’d hear is your treasures shall be and at the end, your soul shall be worthy to listen the biblical words:

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. [25] And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
