About this ebook

The role of pets in humanity has evolved over thousands of years. This Poetry book written by A.R.C is an example about how animals we lose to sickness or tragedy. We still have to mourn and grieve just as we do with other humans. Losing a pet, or losing a loved one, can be one and the same because our pets are part of our family, they are included as being a loved one.

Anna is a fantasy, sci-fi and poetry writer. She writes about everything from magic to the supernatural, in the most realistic and hilarious way possible, with a style that is both whimsical and yet utterly believable. There are several reasons why Anna's writing career began in such a peculiar way. She couldn't read at around a 4th-grade level until she was around 12 years old because of an eye condition called vertical heterophoria, and she was also diagnosed with ADHD at thirteen years old. At twelve years old she began writing the first version of her book "Magic and Mystery the Search for the memory potion." But as she was twelve when she wrote it and still had some trouble with reading, it was not up to par. Anna began to re-write the book when she was fourteen and had been working alone editing that same book (writing other things) until she met Whitney around 2021, and Anna asked her to be her editor. Although the information above might be rather biased considering Anna is the one who wrote it...

Why Do You Go Before I Do? - A.R.C

    The hands of a goodbye

They were lovely hands, petting an old sunny disposition of a black rabbit in the house.

Her hands sadly stroking black fur wondering if she would soon be crying or skipping for joy.

Her hands weren’t just lovely hands, they were loving to the black rabbit who surely soon would be passing.

Because sometimes the backyard of a home could be a graveyard of one's past hugging and laughing.

The black rabbit staring up at her with shaky breathing yet somehow still a twinkle in her eye.

Her hands somehow didn’t tremble until she started crying and letting go of the sunny lifeless soul of the black rabbit.

They were lovely hands, but were now full of sadness and exhaustion, filling in on her with a case of careless madness.

Sadly, her hands had to let go of a friend her lovely hands had often known.

Too exhausted to carry her away, her mother came and sent Springtime on her way.

    Folded memories

Every time I step through the door,

I expect to see you still there staring at the floor. Your memories fold over me,

    like origami.

Creating a swan of you trapped in my mind, swimming around in circles, unfolding into a question game

    and begging, you to tell

me why you had to go.

    A new friend

Dear new friend, I don’t know you very well. I am scared to love you, I have loved others before, when I was naive, to how long I would live without you.

    gentle and soft you,

One day you will also be gone. I somehow must love a new friend while I think of you constantly.

Dear new friend, please spare me your love.

But it is addicting, isn’t it?

    The idea of a creature,
