Introduction
I remember the first time I was prophesied to that I would preach the Gospel. I was in my first year of being a new babe in the Kingdom. It terrified me. The thoughts that kept going through my head were, I can’t do that. I don’t know how to do that. I don’t even like to speak in public. I couldn’t speak in front of my class in high school. Pastor must have gotten that Word wrong. I am messed up emotionally from my past. God can’t use me.
I could go on and on. Through the next year, more pastors would tell me the same thing. I still didn’t believe it or want to preach. I mean really, who really wants that responsibility?
In 2004, I decided to go back to college and finish my computer programming degree. Well, I my old school wouldn’t release my transcripts because I owed a balance. I decided now wasn’t the time for me to go back. Two weeks later, God told me to apply to Bible College. I replied back to Him, you know I can’t get my transcripts. He replied, go. So, I did and without any hassle and no left-over balance, my transcripts were sent to John Wesley Bible College. This is when I knew what everyone had been saying, I was going to preach. So, I signed up to get my degree in Pastoral Ministries with a minor in theology and counseling.
I will never forget that my very first class was a preaching class. God through me right into the fire. I was so nervous to stand up in front
