Introduction

Are you looking for a scientifically and spiritually proven pathway to lasting freedom, weight loss, and healing in your life? This book is based on my testimony of using intermittent fasting as a powerful fast track strategy that helped jumpstart me into wholeness. However, as you’ll read, reaching a place of desperation was the key to my ultimate breakthrough.

I’ll share my journey including mindsets and generational strongholds, in the first chapter. The power of breakthrough is found in the Hebraic meaning of the word "testimony.’’ It literally means: Do it AGAIN, with the same power and authority! (The word testimony in Hebrew Maynooth/ Frontline Church Liverpool/Facebook).

By sharing my story and testimony with you, I believe you can also receive the power of overcoming any obstacle in your weight loss or healing journey. Keep in mind that you’ll have your own unique transformation story. Revelation 12:11 NIV says: They triumphed over him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. (‘him’ in this passage means overcoming the enemy and his evil forces by declaring God’s redemption). Get ready to be transformed from the inside out!

My Personal Testimony

GENERATIONAL FREEDOM FIGHTERS:

My personal story goes back multiple generations. I’ve come to believe in the synergy of the ages. (Quote from Dutch Sheets in his An Appeal to Heaven book). What our forefathers believed and prayed for can intersect our lives with Heaven waiting for the exact right timing to invade earth. We can become the answer to prayers they were appealing to Heaven about centuries ago. Along with blessings, it’s possible to carry generational strongholds and mindsets that need God’s intervention. My journey reflects both divine tensions.

In the last several years, I’ve become aware through family research that my father’s ancestors came to the New World in the early 1630’s. Many came as pilgrims seeking a better life and religious freedom. They were brave, hard-working, patriotic men and women, many were being persecuted for their faith. Most were northern European Protestants, carrying the family name of Witbeck, named after the village they lived (located in the present-day Holstein region of northern Germany.)

I’m proud to say, my ancestors were willing to lay their lives down for the cause of freedom. They desired to worship God without the political and religious rules and regulations of Europe. Being true forerunners and trailblazers, they risked everything to cross the Atlantic to the unchartered land of the Americas.

Woven into the stories of my Father’s bloodline were many accounts of heroism and bravery. They were sturdy, resourceful, and willing to become true freedom fighters in this new land. All records show my family fought bravely for the cause of freedom in every major war on American soil for over three centuries. From sea to shining sea, they took up arms for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

During the Revolutionary War, they warred against tyranny from Great Britain. In the Civil War, the fight was against human slavery. Numerous members of my family fought in both World Wars of the 1900’s. To help maintain world freedom, my father served in The Battle of the Bulge, receiving a medal of honor, and surviving some of the bloodiest battles fought in WW2.

Through researching my heritage, I began connecting parallels with my own life. It was easy to see where my calling and desire to be a freedom fighter was intersecting with my forefathers.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of seeing hundreds of people released from many bondages, addictions, and even the slavery of prostitution and human trafficking. It’s been amazing to witness chains falling off as captives are set
