Day 2

Startled, Alina woke up gasping for air. For those first few seconds after opening her eyes, she couldn’t remember where she was or why she wasn’t in her parent’s hut. All the uncertainty added fuel to her anxiety. Slamming her eyes shut, she tried not to panic. After taking a few deep breaths to ground herself, she opened her brown eyes again and realized she was still in the black sand cave by the sea.

She felt something heavy on her side and glanced down to see a toned, white arm draped over her waist. When she rolled onto her back to see if Xai was awake, she saw that he was still sleeping soundly beside her, confirming that yesterday hadn’t been a dream. Relaxing again, she snuggled back closer to his warm body and let out a content sigh. As crazy as it seemed, she already felt great affection toward her new master.

Her attention then turned to the strange way her body felt. Smiling, she recalled the events of the day before as she caressed her swollen belly and nearly giggled when she felt the bulbous eggs shifting inside her with every touch. Motherhood had never been something she’d aspired to, but this was different. She was carrying the offspring of a god and that fact changed her in ways she didn’t think were possible.

Finally diverting her focus from the eggs, she noticed her breasts were much larger than the day before, as were her nipples. Concerned, she touched them cautiously. They felt full and slightly tender. She made a mental note to ask Xai about it when he woke up. He would know what was going on with her.

Feeling otherwise content, she stared up at the glittering cave ceiling. The early morning sun bounced off the colorful flecks in the dark rocks, practically making the place glow. She wondered if this was where they would always live. Not that it was an issue either way since she liked it here, but it would be nice to see more of the world too. Could he show it to her?

She cringed as a strange sensation suddenly rolled through her stomach. It almost felt like a cramp, but it wasn’t necessarily painful. Maybe she
