Full circle. The imagery is striking. The pull of the words is undeniable. What will this be? Life? Death? Rebirth? Memory? Or will this be a set of moments of Zen set against the backdrop of life in America? After all, it is called American. What I found was all of these and at the same time, none of these.

The funny thing is, I have been there for a large
