My solitary LIFE

First things first. There’s a difference between loneliness and solitariness – one plagues us, the other is sought after. And from a young age, I knew the difference. I felt the necessity to have periods of solitude. Belonging to a rambunctious extended Indian family was not always conducive to someone like me, who needed space and time alone.
