This book is dedicated to my three children, Frankie, Aleksyia, and Isaiah. I am beyond thankful God chose me to be your mother and you three my children. You are individually yet unknowingly the flames that have kept my faith burning over the years. In my love for each one of you I strive to live out a true faith in Jesus Christ. I hope one day you will look back and find an example you can follow. Having you for children is one of my biggest accomplishments. Our story is one of strength and resilience in faith. Thanks for never giving up! I’m proud of all of you. This book is for you and the greater works you will do!

For every day we are tempted to fear,

To my niece Kashmere, during the very difficult and scary season of taking care of my dad, you showed strength and bravery. My dear sister and friend in Christ, Monique Martinez, you have spent countless hours showing true hospitality, the kind the Bible speaks of. Your friendship in the faith has led me to the cross and feet of Jesus, where I have been restored and encouraged more times than I can count. Thank you. I would like to acknowledge my grandma Josephine Rivas who passed from death to eternal life on July 14, 2019. She left us with the words, Dios es grande (God is big). To my nana, Maria Gallegos, who passed from death to eternal life on June 16, 2020. She loved reminding me that God would never leave us or forsake us. She also gifted me with my first Bible thirty-four years ago, which I still hold dear to me today.
