About this ebook

What do you do when the love isn't enough anymore?

Five years. A husband and a set of twins. A new business. Calliope has achieved every goal on her vision board since leaving her job as a personal assistant to one of Seattle's prominent tech CEOs to marry him and have his babies. Now, with her eccentric twins turning six, it's time to focus more time and energy on her PR agency, Creative Connections. As she's establishing her name as the go-to for public relations on the West coast, the furthest thing from her mind is getting pregnant again, but her husband has his own plans.

Brandon Sims is used to two things: success and getting his way. His life as CEO of Payout, Inc, and husband to one of the baddest women in the world has taught him that there's nothing that he can't have or do. That's why Calliope's adamant refusal to even entertain the idea of more kids has him having thoughts that threaten to topple everything they've built together.

When their bond is tested, and misunderstandings put the relationship in danger, can they hit the reset button and remember what brought them together in the first place?

    Executive Entanglememts - Tia Love

    Chapter One

Brandon Sims stood behind his wife, Calliope, as she looked down at her jewelry box. She was halfway dressed for their evening in a strapless bra and Spanx that did nothing to hide the round mound he joyfully grabbed on his way out of the bathroom to the walk-in closet. Calliope didn’t break from her task; she only slapped his hand away, telling him to behave. She dug something from the box and straightened up to look in the mirror. Brandon raised an eyebrow at what the movement did to her ass.

You might as well release that bottom lip from the strains of your teeth because ain’t nothing poppin’ off, she said, looking at him through the reflection in the mirror she stood in front of. Brandon broke into a grin and shook his head.

Nobody said we had to be on time. He walked a few steps forward until he was close enough to smell the light floral scent coming off her. Her skin glistened, and when she turned to look at him, he could see how it sparkled in some spots.

What are you doing, Brandon? He took another step forward, almost closing the distance between them. He briefly wondered if she could feel how hot he was for her.

What do you mean? I’m getting dressed just like you.

Stop playing, Calliope laughed and swatted his hand away when he laid it across the top of one of her breasts. Brandon was undeterred as he took his other hand and palmed her ass. Calliope tried stepping back and ended up sandwiched between the vanity and Brandon’s body. If she couldn’t feel the heat before, she could definitely feel it now. Blood pumped through Brandon’s veins, and his dick jumped, pressing against where her pussy rested in her Spanx. He could tell the exact moment that she got on his level when her eyes darkened, and her breath hitched in her throat.

Brandon. Her name on his lips was just an invitation to push the envelope a little further. He continued palming her ass and leaned down to kiss the spot between her neck and left earlobe. That was the money spot right there. Her knees buckled just a little bit, and he pulled her in closer to devour her entire neck with his lips.

Brandon, she said again, this time louder and with a lot less resistance. He knew he had her right where he needed her when he dipped his head lower to kiss and suck along the soft cleavage pushing out of the top of her bra. She didn’t stop him, and that was all the signal he needed. He moved his hands up her back and unhooked her bra. Her breasts bounced gently, almost as if they were happy to see him. He didn’t waste any time as he took his kisses lower and captured one of her nipples in his mouth.

Calliope arched her back, the pleasure from his tongue and teeth on her sensitive nipples reverberating through her body. She moaned softly, responding to the intense feeling he gave her; the sound excited Brandon. He put one of his hands between her legs and could feel her juices already dripping down her thigh. That was his cue. He got down on his knees in front of her; Calliope leaned back in anticipation, no longer trying to fight what was happening.

Damn, she looks sexy than a motherfucker.

He licked and kissed around her thighs, tasting her there before taking a deep dive into her sweetness. Calliope squirmed, alternating between squeezing her thighs around his neck, his favorite, and trying to climb onto the vanity. The watch on Brandon’s wrist buzzed but he ignored it. Whoever was calling could wait until he got his fill.

Brandon. . . Calliope kept moaning. He closed his eyes and let the sound of her moans guide him to her point of no return. She started shaking above him, and small whimpers escaped her as she neared her orgasm.

Brandon?! Hello! Brandon’s eyes snapped open, and he looked at his Apple Watch. The call was answered accidentally, either by him or Calliope’s roaming hands. He stared at the watch and Calliope looked down at him, confused. Brandon! The voice of his personal assistant, Natalia, came through the small watch face much louder this time, startling Calliope. Her hands flew to her breasts, covering them as if Natalia had caught them in the act.

Where are you? Natalia’s question pulled him all the way out of his daze. He was late. He looked into Calliope’s wide eyes and realized that didn’t matter as much as it might have five years ago. He placed a soft kiss on her thigh and started rubbing the other thigh with his hand. He cleared his throat.

Hey Nat, I just finished getting dressed, he lied so easily. He kissed Calliope’s thigh again, this time a little closer to where he really wanted to put his mouth. The twins’ nanny was late, so we had to keep them entertained before she got here, he lied again. The kids had left with the nanny hours ago. He stared into Calliope’s lust-filled eyes and stuck his tongue out to flick it across her clitoris a few times. Her entire body shivered, and she bit down on her lip to prevent any sound from escaping and blowing their cover.

Well, you need to hurry up! The gala started almost an hour ago, and you’re expected to make a speech at 6:30. Natalia sounded so worked up and full of anxiety. She’d only worked for him for a few months, so this was her first big event. Brandon chuckled; she had a lot to learn.

Okay, Nat. Callie’s putting her shoes on, and then we’ll be out the door.

    Ok. See you soon.

Natalia hadn’t even hung up good before Brandon buried his face between his wife’s legs. Using his tongue, he pushed Calliope to the orgasm she was close to before the interruption. She came, her legs clenched, and his head was squeezed between her thick thighs. Brandon smiled; this was his happy place. He could easily suffocate and die here and Jesus would just have to understand.

After a few minutes, Calliope came down from her high and released his head. Brandon stood then, wiping her juices from his mouth with his hand. He gave her one last kiss before saying, that was worth being late for. Now let’s get dressed.

    Chapter Two

I can’t believe you made us late to the company’s biggest party of the year. Calliope glanced at Brandon who expertly maneuvered through rush hour traffic on the interstate. They should have already been at the hotel to welcome all of the guests to the annual fundraiser for The Mother’s Foundation, the premier philanthropic effort of Payout , Brandon’s fintech company. For the last fifteen years, Brandon and Calliope hosted the gala that was attended by some of Seattle’s biggest financial players.

Why do you care, Brandon asked in a careless tone that did not match up with the energy Calliope knew he would need to move and shake through tonight’s crowd.

Maybe because The Mother’s Foundation is special to me too, and even though I don’t work for you anymore, the gala is still very much my brainchild, Calliope replied matter-of-factly. She pulled a compact mirror from her satin clutch and popped it open to check her makeup. As expected, every single inch of her face was flawless thanks to her best friend, Rose’s blessed hands.

I kid, baby. But you know what it is. When you’re the boss, aka me, the party doesn’t start until you walk in. Calliope rolled her eyes and ignored her husband’s braggadocious commentary.

She hadn’t worked as Brandon’s personal assistant in over six years, around the same amount of time they had been together. She used to run his life, his calendar, the gala and so much more, but stepped out of that role when she and Brandon decided that their ten-year working relationship was just a step to what they really wanted from each other. Love, affection, commitment and family.

Calliope smiled when she thought about their five-year-old twins, Talia and Thomas, who were spending the night at their aunt Porscha’s house. Brandon’s baby sister was still on the fence about having her own kids, but didn’t hesitate to get the twins whenever she needed a baby fever fix.

Besides, we had way more important things to take care of before leaving the house.

Calliope blushed from her forehead down to her exposed cleavage. Their moment in the dressing room was unplanned and happened unprovoked, but that orgasm drained all of the stress and tension she held in her body throughout the week. Brandon had a way of knowing when she was pent up like that and just how to relieve it.

I hope you have the energy to finish what you started, she said slyly. Brandon glanced over at her with a wide grin.

Oh, Baby, you ain’t said nothing but a word. I can switch this to autopilot. We can get down right now and still make it to the gala before speech time.

Boy, please, Calliope exclaimed, trying to hold back her laughter. Brandon chuckled as he merged into the right lane to exit the freeway.

Naw, baby, but for real though, I rented out the penthouse suite at the hotel. So as soon as the clock strikes twelve or whenever the money stops coming in, whichever comes first, I got you on a full body breakdown.

The heat pooled at Calliope’s center as she took in his words. Five years of marriage had not dulled her senses nor her desire for this man. Having him now was just as good as it was when she first got it, and ten times better than what she imagined it to be when she was just his assistant.

Most times, Brandon only needed to look at her a certain way and her whole body was on fire. The way he lavished her body with love and affection, coaxing multiple orgasms out of her some nights, made her feel like the baddest bitch walking. She thought Brandon’s high-profile personality and career would make it hard to trust him, or make her feel like she was in competition with the many women that just might kill to take her place. But Brandon let her, and the rest of the world, know that she was it, and it didn’t get any better for him.

She smiled when Brandon pulled up to the valet where the gala was located this year. Calliope waited for him to come around and open her door and then she stepped
