"Where is Jeremy?" follows the questioning of a distraught woman, as a detective tries to get to the bottom of the disappearance of the woman's grandson. All is not as it seems, however, when the woman and detective are interrupted by something other worldly.

"Jill's Birthday Present" follows Gerald, a man trying to reach his best friend Jill's birthday party on time. Factor that in with a colossal snow storm, a town bully, and a penguin in peril, and what could go wrong?

Darla hadn’t expected the zombie apocalypse to be so sudden, so violent…

She hid in the building 3b girls’ bathroom stall of Greenberg High, listening intently for the sound of police sirens, praying help would arrive soon.

Her only defense was the can of pepper spray her mother gave her before starting freshman year.

Silence outside. (It was hard for Darla to hear anything though with the sound of her heart beating in her ears.)

Could the zombies smell her?

Would they be able to open the door?

She was aware that the lock was removed during school hours and only the custodian, Mr. Jacoby, knew the whereabouts of the key.

Mr. Jacoby was probably dead.

The bathroom door opened.

Darla froze. She was now covered in sweat. Had the dead found her hiding spot?
