Ivan Atkinson

Ivan is a Melbourne based artist and photographer, who has worked in the offshore industry for 20 years, manning supply boats to oil rigs. Whether at sea, or at home, he has continued to create art based on his experiences.For many years Ivan sold his art at the St. Kilda Market, and his paintings have been showcased in group exhibitions in Bendigo, Fitzroy and St. Kilda. One of Ivan's detailed photo-montages featured in numerous episodes of the ABC TV series, Jack Irish. He has also designed posters, t-shirts, and assorted ephemera for numerous cultural events throughout Melbourne. He lives in Windsor, Victoria.
