Spanking My Mother's Straight White Boyfriend - Annie Gutierrez

Spanking My Mother's Straight White Boyfriend

    By Annie Gutierrez

It was a warm summer afternoon, and the sun was shining brightly as 23-year-old Alex sat on the balcony of his apartment, sipping on a cold beer. He was scrolling through his phone when his mother, Susan, called him.

    Hey, Mom, Alex answered.

Hey, sweetie. How are you doing? Susan asked.

I'm good. Enjoying the weather. How are you?

I'm good, too, thanks. Listen, I have some news.

    What is it?

    I've been seeing someone.

Really? That's great, Mom! Alex said, surprised.

Yes, he's a really nice guy. We've been seeing each other for a few weeks now.

    Who is he?

His name is David. He's a lawyer, and he's white.

    Okay.

Alex didn't really know what to say. His mother had always been supportive of him and his sexuality, but he wasn't sure how he felt about her dating a straight white man.

I'm bringing him over for dinner tonight if you want to meet him.

Sure, I'd love to. What time should I come over?

Seven is good. See you then.

Alex hung up the phone, feeling a bit uneasy. He wasn't sure how he felt about meeting his mother's boyfriend. He decided to call his best friend, Jason, for some advice.

    Hey, man, Jason answered.

Hey, Jason. My mom is bringing her new boyfriend over for dinner tonight, and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

    Why not?

I don't know. What if he's a homophobe or something? What if he doesn't like me because I'm gay?

Alex, relax. Your mom wouldn't date someone who didn't like you because of your sexuality. And even if he turns out to be a jerk, just be polite and don't make a scene.

I guess you're right. Thanks, Jason.

Anytime, man. Just remember, your mom loves you, and that's all that matters.

Alex took a deep breath and tried to relax. He knew Jason was right. He just needed to be open-minded and hope for the best.

As Alex walked into his mother's house that night, he was introduced to David. David seemed like a nice guy and was very friendly. They chatted for a while, and they seemed to have a good connection.

Over dinner, Susan and David shared stories with Alex about their lives and their jobs. Alex found himself getting more and more interested in David as the night went on. He was funny, charming, and easy to talk to.

As they finished dessert, Alex excused himself to the bathroom. As he washed his hands, he looked in the mirror and realized something shocking.

I think I'm falling for my mother's boyfriend, Alex whispered to himself, feeling confused and scared.

He didn't know what to do or how to deal with his feelings. To him, it seemed like a crazy idea, but he couldn't help the way he felt. His mind was racing with emotions and thoughts as he tried to make sense of everything.

As he left the bathroom, he looked at David and felt his heart racing. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help but feel attracted to him. He sat back down at the table, unsure of what to do next.

The rest of the night felt like a blur to Alex. He couldn't get his newfound feelings out of his head. He knew he had to figure out what to do with them, but he wasn't sure how.

As he hugged his mother and David goodbye, he felt a jolt of electricity shoot through him as he hugged David. He hoped that he could figure out what was going on in his head and heart before it was too late.

The next few days felt like torture to Alex. He couldn't get David out of his head, no matter how hard he tried. He found himself replaying their conversation over and over again, analyzing every word David had said. He even caught himself daydreaming about the older man at work, which was not only inappropriate, but also highly unproductive.

Jason noticed the change in Alex's behavior and decided to confront him about it.

Okay, spill it. What's been bothering you? he asked as they walked towards their favorite coffee shop.

It's David, Alex admitted, feeling embarrassed and conflicted.

    What about him? Jason prodded.

I think I'm... attracted to him, Alex whispered, hoping no one around them heard his confession.

Jason burst out into laughter, which made Alex feel even more ridiculous.

Dude, you're gay. You're supposed to be attracted to guys, Jason said, still chuckling.

It's not that simple, Alex said, feeling defensive. He's straight, and he's my mother's boyfriend.

Jason's face softened, and he put his arm around Alex's shoulders. I get it. It's complicated. But you can't help who you have feelings for.

Alex sighed. "I know. But what am I supposed to do? I can't just ignore these
