A Blackened Heart
Within the depths of my soul,
A darkness creeps and takes its toll,
A heart once pure, now black as coal,
A path of shadows, my only goal.
The pain inside, it never fades,
A wounded heart, that never mends,
A blackened void, where love once played,
A heart that aches, until the end.
The moonless sky, it haunts my dreams,
A hollow void, where hope has died,
A place where nothing's what it seems,
A realm of darkness, where I reside.
I walk the night, with no remorse,
A shadow's game, that I play well,
A heart of stone, without recourse,
A life of darkness, my only hell.
The echoes of my tortured soul,
A scream that echoes through the night,
A never-ending, gaping hole,
A heart that's lost, without a fight.
The darkness whispers in my ear,
A siren's call, that draws me in,
A fate that's certain, and so clear,
A blackened heart, consumed by sin.
My soul is black, my heart is cold,
A life that's shattered, beyond repair,
A path that's dark, and hard to hold,
A heart that's lost, and knows no care.
I search for light, but find no hope,
A world of shadows, and despair,
A life that's hard, and hard to cope,
A heart that's lost, beyond repair.
I've lost my way, and lost my soul,
A heart that's black, and filled with hate,
A life that's dark, without a goal,
A heart that's doomed, to meet its fate.
The darkness calls, and I obey,
A life that's doomed, to endless pain,
A heart that's lost, and can't be saved,
A blackened heart, forever stained.
Bleeding Moon
The night sky dark, the air is still
A lone wolf's howl, a distant thrill
The trees stand tall, with branches bare
The moon is full, and casts a glare
Her light so bright, her face so pale
A vision of beauty, she will never fail
But something's different, something's wrong
A faint red glow, where she belongs
The moon is bleeding, its light turned red
A sign of darkness, a path ahead
The trees begin to whisper, the wind picks up
The creatures of the night stir and wake up
A chill runs down my spine, a sense of dread
As the moon's blood drips, onto my head
A symphony of terror, a chorus of fear
