Chapter 1
I dare you to eat mint leaves with a bit of peanut butter and Fanta all together in one cup!
my best friend, Brigitte, exclaimed at a sleepover at my house. I slowly walked downstairs, slipped into the kitchen, and took the materials out of my fridge.
I mixed them up and blended them and then finally said, Okay! I guess I have to do this.

I said.
Valerie Evelyn Stawarski, you are in big trouble. I never thought I’d do this, but you’re-you’re grounded for a…week.
my mom scolded.
I’m sorry, Mom. I understand.
I said.
Now go to bed. Brigitte dear, you can choose whether or not you’d like to stay.
Mom said.
Um… I think I’ll stay, Mrs. Stawarski.
Brigitte said to my mom with a fake smile.
Very well.
I walked upstairs at a normal
