    A Note from Lexi

It’s no secret that I’m hot-blooded. When I’m passionate about something — or someone — I often choose to indulge myself.

Lately, I’ve been getting so excited about my writing and stories that I can’t wait until they’re all ready as part of a collection, like I did with Mating Season: Erotic Short Stories.

May this tasty morsel of erotica help you satisfy your hunger for more Lexual literature.

Want to discover what’s next? Check the exclusive excerpt at the end of this story to delve into the adventure my new characters will explore very, very soon.

    Until next time,

    Stay Lexual, my loyal readers.

A-list celebrities mill around the glitzy ballroom of The Pierre Hotel, pressing the flesh.

I know all their dirty little secrets.

Primo fundraising events like this Casino Night are rife with opportunities to cleanse celebrities’ public images and distract people from recent — and past — scandalous headlines.

Which is why I’ve advised my clients to make sizable donations to the tune of six figures apiece — at the minimum — and don their finest gala wear for this exclusive red-carpet event. It’s not like they can’t afford it.

Invitations to this event are limited to la crème de la crème of high society — members of royal families, high-ranking senators and lawmakers, award-winning members of the media and film, along with some assorted millionaires and billionaires from some of the biggest companies and industries in the world.

This year, the funds raised will go toward the children’s hospital, and the most generous philanthropist will have their name engraved on the archway of the new wing. It’s the kind of moral currency that can only be bought. And that’s the thing about celebrities — status is of paramount importance. Appearances are everything, after all.

The Grand Ballroom is more luxurious than ever, with five hundred members of the glitterati milling around from table to table, trying their luck at roulette and blackjack. But, with all the marquee names at this star-studded soirée, I doubt anyone is paying attention to me. To them, I’m just another well-dressed woman who’s letting her long, dark hair down for a night of pleasure and an adrenaline rush from the high of gambling.

Granted, I’ve attracted several appreciative looks from other guests. I know that my dress hugs my curves in all the right places, and the ruby tone of the silk fabric is a stunning contrast against my alabaster skin. My new diamond and gold earrings dangle like crystal chandeliers from the ballroom’s high ceilings. It thrills me that my designer wardrobe is all paid for by covering up the indiscretions of these public figures and aristocrats. I’ve more than earned the privilege of attending these opulent events because of my stellar reputation as a fixer.

Just looking at tonight’s guests, I consider the latest headlines I’d helped prevent: Rock Legend Caught Fucking Her Husband’s Sister in Their Bed. Congressman Has Secret Second Family with His Housekeeper. Actor Fired After Punching Director During Blockbuster Movie Production. Tech Billionaire Suspected of Insider Trading with Pharmaceutical Giant.

Except for the New York locals, everyone else has flown in from around the world to experience the extravagance and flaunt their success at this unmissable event. Of all the guests here, I’m responsible for managing the publicity for about a hundred of them between my clients and their partners or plus-ones.

Even though I’m in town from London to work, I plan to make the most of tonight and my newly acquired gala wear. If not for indulging myself at events like these, I’d have virtually no
